Suggestion to Buy a used Car in 7 Lac

Dear pakwheels members , Your valuable advice is required. I want to buy a used car in the budget of 7 Lac with following requirements:

1- Sedan
2- AC performance must be good

Another Sedan can be Corolla (97-99).

Brother dont even think of flop cars like Nissan Suuny, KIA Spectra/ Classic, Chevrolet Optra, Lancer, LIANA, Baleno etc they are all available for 6-7 lacs because they are obsolete.

you can get a 2002-03 XLi for 7 lac but you have to spend 20-30K on it.

2nd choice is obviously Corolla E100 (Indus Corolla) 97-98 GL 1.3L but you have to look for a good car since majority are engine swapped or auction number.

3rd choice you can get fish shape 2006 City vario or Manual, M/T is good since Vario dont run on CNG.

You can also get 2002-03 old shape City EXiS Auto or M/T for 550-600K.

2001-02 Prosmatec are also available for 6-7 lacs but they are gas guzzler high maintenance items abused by boy racers or office uncles so its best to avoid them.

Brother it depends on your search surely you would not get a petrol driven showroom condition car in 700K.

Most of the 2002-04 cars are showered and crossed 100,000km but showered does not mean accident.

You can get these kinds of car but the beauty of corolla is that it runs after 20 years as good as new if kept properly.

I have a 2004 GLi which crossed 240,000 km and still starts at first turn of the key.

2001 was old Indus shape XLi came in 2002.

Bro, go for city 2001-2002(If you are in Punjab), if you are lucky enough to find a good piece..best thing abt this model is suspesion, shape is decent enough, and milage is good too as its with Efi engine, all else you will get in this price tag will be carburtr which will not be fuel efficient.and trust me u wont regret your decision.
