By the way, what we did was, we removed the radiator cap and the hope pipe from the engine and put a water pipe straight into the hose pipe and started the car.......

It started to decrease and then come the second part, where we plug out the heater pipe and put the water pipe in out to remove the radiator flush from the other half of the cooling system (you all may well know that cooling system is separated by the thermostat when it is closed, once its opens it permits radiator side water to come into the heater side and the heater side water escapes to radiator)..... so doing the second half...

Here it comes from the heater side......

By the way, whenever you do attempt this procedure, always move your temperature gauge to hot or press "heater" if you have a push button for it....

and continued coming out for at least 12-15 minutes straight......

after that it started to get clear......

and at last, last picture of the activity, putting back the hose pipe once we got clear water out from the radiator and heater hose.... after putting up all the disconnected pipes we put in the Pyro coolant and it was dark by the time so could not take further pictures.......

It was a very hectic day but this work was pending for good three months now and by seeing the condition of the diesel filter, it was obvious that if it be this way for more than a month or so more, the nozzles and pump would have gone by then due to dirt particles coming into them... I hope it gives life to my car and the engine operates and breaths more easily..... Though it cost me a lot to maintain it in such a way especially where cheaper alternatives were available, but i opted for best for my car and I am hoping and praying from Allah that it turns out best for me as well :).

Bro nice DIY and maintainence but please refrain from keeping tools on battery as it is very dangerous if any metal tool touches both the terminals at once there is a blast expected.

obviously, as soon as I replaced the air filter and I knew car is moving light.... it is light now, and it might help with the fuel consumption as well because you get a general sense if you are a daily driver that how your car is feeling....

on top of it, it was due since long and one thing which ensured this time was that genuine products do work best besides they do cost you an arm and leg....

The air filter I put in was of Rs. 1850 and even it was available of Rs. 200 in the market, Rs. 200, Rs. 450, Rs. 800, Rs. 1600, and then this one Rs. 1850. Most of the people would get tangled in above figures and try to abstain from purchasing a filter of Rs. 1850 if it is available in such a "low" price

Same was the case with fuel filter. Malaysian was available for Rs. 1650... but.....

That taaki is placed because the sound box is removed by someone. IT is placed in the fender and is attached to the opening on outer intake pipe. IN good days it was available second hand for around 1500. Don't know about now, as diesel days are gone and kabariyas do not stock much of the parts

very informative and good thread, i too own a Nissan Sunny B14 having CD20, currently am using Le Ppon Air filter which cost me around 800 and Fuel Filter cost me 200! But now i will definitely go for original filters, they are hard to find here in islamabad, but if i cant get my hands on them i will definitely ask you for filters...
