@IceCold which dealer did you change the oil from? Did they use 4 liters can and then charge you 4 liters, 3 liters or 2.6 liters? Only oil filter costs Rs. 1115

I changed it from master motors, defense road. And they had 3 ltr available with them. Oil costed 2883, Filter costed 953, gst was 652. Total 4488.

No i drove this in almost 6 months. I changed oil because the maximum life of oil is 6 months and also because suzuki is using the wrong grade. After oil change engine noise has significantly reduced specially in idle and pickup has increased.

Similar situation here, I got my car delivered in Oct-2019 and to date it is only driven around 2500 km. So it has been around 4 months with current oil. Will change the oil in a week or so. I hope if I manage to get 3 ltr pack of 0W20 at Suzuki Macca Motors.

Well when i went suzuki dealer for 1 inspection at 1000km they said next visit after 3 month or 5000km which ever comes first thats y asking if i drive less than 5000km its worth to visit or not ?

Hello ALTO Owners:

Q1: Is it worth to change oil from Suzuki Dealer or i can change from reputable Petrol pump infront of my eyes? as suzuki dont allow to go on inspection area they just give invoice.

Q2: if i change Oil from Petrol pump so my warranty END?
Q3: Suzuki dealer change oil with oil filter or they just change oil ?
Q4: Which engine oil is good for alto? Brand or just stick with Suzuki Oil which i read its wrong for that engine?

You dont necessarily have to go to the same showroom for oil change. I bought car from another showroom but it far from my house and also did not had 0w20 available. I contacted other showrooms and went to Master motors who had this available in 3 ltrs.

3 months is BS. No one checks. I went after six months and they did free inspection. Nobody asked me how many months have it been. As for being worth it, well they cleaned my plugs (frankly i dont know why), cleaned air filter, AC filter, greased my doors, removed the white writing on my windscreen, my bumper had a small scratch, they clumed it, checked my tyre air pressure and scanned the car for error codes and sent me on my way.

One word "Dont"
Get it changed from Suzuki only. Otherwise if God forbid any problem arises, they will check your history and upon finding that you did not get oil changed from suzuki will simply void warranty. Waisa he Pakistan main companies ko bahna chaie hota ha to not accept claims.

Is extended warranty worth the extra money? Dealership also told me that you will also get few oil changes free etc.

I don't care about the freebies with extended warranty but my only concern is how the AGS module will hold up in long term, that is why I am considering extended warranty.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hahaha, mine would have been easily driven around 10K km if Airlift/Swvl would have not launched in Karachi. The said bus service is a true blessing for Karachiites. So, my Alto is mostly driven on weekends only

However, I'll still change the oil in coming week, since a lot has been said and heard about the oil poured in by Pak Suzuki in new Alto. Also would like to see the difference in 0W20

Yes mera samna kia tha. I did not left my car alone with them. I shared the cost in my earlier post. My ac and air filter were not changed. They were ok. Only oil 3 ltrs costed 2883. Filter costed 953. GST was 652. I paid in total 4488.

I used Alto VXR for 7 months and finally got rid of it and bought JDM WAGONR

u cannot imagine what relief i felt in drive quality comfort and silent drive

When i was using alto, in its 2nd month i had to claim the he warranty as the airbags were disconnected fue to clock spring failure

The petrol lid remained unable to open properly and requires a finger to pull out

Paint quality of alto was inferior

And the engine noise inside the cabin was horrible
