Okay I agree the 39 HP is a wrong figure.

What about no noise issue in the Japanese AGS? AGS in not a translation it's just module attached to a manual gear box. The only noisy transmission known is CVT

About using regular fuel, I have been using regular fuel in all my JDM Vitzes since 2006 I have had no issues with fuel usage. So that's definitely not a problem.

By detuning the engine I am referring it to be adjusted to Pakistan environment.

You see mehran is a pathetic car but it takes leads against any 660cc dinky with a CVT transmission because of it being a manual and having a good pickup. And can cross the steepest slope while a CVT cant goto such heights atleast a 660cc cant make it.

Similarly Alto makes noise because the engine reaches hi rpms at very low speeds. This is not the case with the Japanese variant. I have traveled in alot of careem jdm Altos ags and CVT variants. The drive on the Japanese car is alot smoother then the Pakistani car.

Iridium and copper sparks plugs major difference is change interval.

They suzuki Pakistan are trying to keep costs low. So maintenance stays as cheap as possible.

Yes, manual car has advantage over any version of automatic. And the engine noise issue is nothing more than the result of poor insulation.

Because Suzuki japan designed it so. My reference is the spec sheet provided by suzuki japan on their website.
Alto X/S/L comes with cvt transmission and VVT engine
Alto F comes with MT/AGS transmission in which the manual variant has simple 12 valve DOHC engine. The same engine is also used in both AGS/Manual versions of pkdm alto. There was also an ags version of jdm alto with plain dohc engine but I cant find it now on their website

Also, the engine with VVT has slightly bigger head than usual and one can see the oil lines running to the cam shaft.

What to read again about it? I already gave you a conclusive evidence that pkdm alto lacks vvt in its engine. I think you are confusing cvt and vvt. Both are different things. Also, you need to see the spec sheet for F variant. I think they have launched a face lift or something but there was and ags model without vvt as well. @saad.ikram.5688 could confirm if his jdm alto has vvt or not

I was getting my Passos oil changed at an oil change station, beside my car there was an alto vx 2020 applied for, getting its oil changed. The owner told the oil guy to pour in PSO 20w50 in his brand new car. I interrupted him politely and told him k bhaijaan yeh new car hai, ismein aap 0w20 yaa 5w30 oil istemal karein as per company recommendation 20w50 api sl is too thick for this small engine. And then he asked me, "Bhaijaan aap mechanic ho? Mere mechanic ne kaha hai yeh daalo mein yeh hee daalunga".

I took my excuse and went away. Apparently it is a sin to educate people here.

Can you explain the steps as to how i can confirm if JDM Alto has VVT or not and i'd be happy to perform those steps and share results

You mentioned the Japanese variant with AGS and manual transmission not have VVT. In the link you shared it is mentioned all transmission have VVT

These highlighted in yellow are Manual version of Alto F variant on the website and they don't have VVT mentioned. Against the AGS trans VVT is mentioned.

And horsepower is 2KW equal to almost 3HP less than engine with VVT.

Look at the pics of mobile oil cap hole shared above. You can check similarly in your car. If it has a visible actuator on cam shaft then the engine has vvt

then your jdm alto has VVT in it. Because of this, it produces 3-4 HP more than non-vvt version. @chinyoti you can also see the pic I posted above of pkdm alto`s engine and the ones Saad has posted of the engine oil cap section. We can clearly see that pkdm alto engine doesnt have vvt actuators while jdm alto(ags I believe) has them
