i have budget of 13 lacs. unfortunately, i have just two options alto or wagon r, but m confuse which one to buy.

You would be better off with a WagonR in my opinion. Specially if its the only car you are buying. Alto is good as a second car.

Buying a used car that was so popular with Careem/Uber is a bit risky in my opinion. If some relative or friend is selling a car which you know hasn't been abused over the years then that would be a good option. But I would be very skeptical in buying such cars from open market.

just one thing preventing me from buying wagon r is its stability issue. lots of ppl complain wagi's rode grip and suggest me to buy alto instead of wagon r. i personaly think alto's body is fragile.

If you want to purchase old car. Just ask about the drive route of car. If used within city only or used on long drive.. only prefer car used on long route.. car drive within city only show less milage on meter compared on engine run on.

Has anyone installed rear roof grips/handles in alto?

The dealership are clueless. One guy told me you can maybe install wagonR like grips which is BS. If anyone has installed please let me know the procedure.

it's all about cost, they know about 0w20, recommended too for WagonR and Cultus, still in 0 meter they are pouring 10w40, I believe same is case for gear oil, 450 Rs/L vs 2900 Rs/L

I am getting it repaired from a local repair center which works on credit for Adam Jee. Suzuki doesn't have Adam jee on their panel. Will it compromise the quality of materials? Or insurance companies insure usage of genuine parts? Thank you for your response.

Yes Alto is a bit roomier than Mira performance wise there isnt much difference in these in kei cars
you would be better off buying an Alto since parts are easily available (because of local Alto) and way cheaper than Mira.
I have an AGS at home and have driven a friend's vxr countless time and also kept a JDM Alto (CVT AWD) for a few days I personally felt that the JDM Alto is quicker than the PKDM Alto and is more convenient to drive.
comfort wise both are the same
The only difference between their suspension is the local alto doesn't have a sway bar end links (z link)
Also the JDM Alto has a different air intake which results in lower induction noise.

I use adamjee and have never had any issue with authorized center. My Toyota corolla had an accident and claim was of 80k+ no issues made i just paid the 10% depreciation on parts some 6k.

Last month my Alto had its windscreen had a chip mark from some random stone. took it to suzuki, also tail light needed replacement due to accident (rear ended by an elderly person) got it done again from Paksuzuki (Macca motors) no issue at all in claims Total bill was 22k for wind screen 7k for the tail lights and some other bumper clip parts total bill 31k for parts and 7k for labor (bumper got repainted) no issues made i just paid the 10% on parts. So if they are denying you adamjee claim get your contact person online and give him a a good piece of your mind.
