Vxl will give more milage as compared to vxr because vxl shifts to 5 gear at speeds grater than 50km where as in vxr, driver usually shifts to 5th gear at speeds greater than 80km and remain in 4th gear in most of the time.
in vxr u can shift to 5th even at 40kph, will it make it more fuel efficient?
Yes you can but then you would have to shift gear frequently which causes fatigue for drive after some time. I have vxr and mostly remain in 3rd, 4th gear within city and avg i am getting is 18.2 km/l.

the best thing about alto is a very spacious interior - too good to believe actually until you sit in one. excellent fuel average is the first thing for this car. the exterior is seriously beautiful and engine bay is well managed. mehran is a seriously horrible thing if we compare it with this alto.
i believe the simplest model of all jdm altos is the Alto Works?

Alto works is the top end model. Simplest is the one with back seat a bit forwarded used for loading. It also has a weight limit sticker
if sales tax is reverted back to 17% in upcoming mini budget then all of those waiting delivery will be brutality affected as it will be applied on invoice date

What if the tentative delivery date (mine is 6th jan) is prior budget implementation date but somehow it is not dlivered on or before 6th jan but after sales tax implementation? What is ur opinion on this?
