The service center lubes the connecting ends with silicon spray this kills for some time, I am also experiencing these noises silicon spray works for some days only.

Visited Balakot / Paras from Islamabad on Alto AGS. Initially program was to go on Corolla but since we had to park car in hotel and hire jeep for Sharan Forest, I thought Alto is tension free being insured and equipped with immobilizer.
Total 550 KMs driven in a day. Speed on Islamabad - Abbottabad motorway was around 110 - 135 Kmph. AC use was intermittent. Car gave an average of 20.5 kmpl. Measured through old school method.

Performance of car was really good. We were three people. Initially it was irritating to drive on mountains in AGS mode but then shifted to manual mode which is very convenient. Infact, the gear shifting in its manual mode is faster than manual transmission with clutch.

Person sitting on rear seat complained about the seat not being comfortable due to absence of rear headrests and roof grip handles. Grip handles are very necessary on curvy roads. Today got them installed from Suzuki IG Motors Islamabad.

The rear headrests are not available in JDM Alto as well. Only Turbo RS version has them. Any idea about their cost?
A poshish guy is asking 13K but he will make the headrests himself by installing some rods in the backrest. I am skeptical about it.

Only F, L and VP lower end variants did not have rear headrests, X and S version had rear headrests as well.

What is the past practise of Pak Suzuki with regards to customers who have paid completely for the car and there is a price increase.......a non tax based price increase like the one Toyota announced day before yesterday.

Does Pak Suzuki apply the car prices at the time of delivery or is the price booked?

For full payment customers....only additional taxes are levied...not the price hike!

My prediction:
Before the end of this month, its Suzuki's turn (most probably Monday). And then within a week of that, it'll be Honda (city and BrV only, for now)

Havn't faced any noise issues with the fuel pump. But you are correct, there is legit no sound proofing in this car. Not 1 single sound deadening material behind the plastic panels, door, roof nothing. I've gone ahead and done some major sound deadening in a 2019 alto since we were doing a complete sq audio upgrade. But if you are willing to spend say about 20-30k, you can make a day and night difference by adding some sound deadening to the car itself

And true, the B-pillars do have the rear speaker wiring. If you do want to install rear speakers, the correct way is to add crimp pins onto the extended speaker wire that will go into the rear doors and simply plug them into the original wiring clip for the rear speakers. But most shop installers won't do that and just splice the speaker wire, attach the extension wires and tape it up. You should atleast add some solder and heatshrink to protect the wire

Move the original front speakers to the back, get some nice sounding coaxials and install them to the front doors. You end up having a more clearer front stage with a decent rear fill

may be they complained because you took the car for 550KM journey without taking off the plastics covers from the seats.

Don't be stupid. The presence or absence of seat covers do not make up for the lack of headrests, roof grips and under thigh support.

yup stupid, that's me, and not the one who thinks that plastic do not hinder the comfortability of the seats. plastic does not feel slippery, does not effect sitting comfort. I wonder why people drive cars without plastics as they can get the same comfort with them and the seats wont even get dirty.

For alto, I think the increase would be between 100k - 165k depending on the variant.
