simple duplicate key will only unlock the doors and crank the engine without starting it as immobilizer will kick in

You need to get the duplicate key with immobilizer. simple key will only give you tension. (like it will unlock the car and car will start beeping and it will start the car either) better to check with dealership for duplicate key.

Dear all, Today I am contributing to this thread by sharing my experience with Alto PKDM AGS. So I got my second service from Suzuki Master Motors after the 1000 km basic one. I was surprised that they did a great job. They did the following
1- tappet adjustment
2- plug service and adjustment
3- ac filter cleaning
4- Engine air filter cleaning
5- oil change
6- oil filter change
7- nuts and bolts tightening
8- engine compression test
everything was found ok alhamdulillah and i changed to the green bottle 5w30 oil and was amazed by the results. My car before would not go beyond 22km/l and after all of the above my car went over 25km/l easily with me clocking 100km/h runs. I am very impressed with the little rocket that this car is, for what it is.
I would recommend everyone to get 5w30 oil for alto as it will reduce engine noise and improve pickup. Moreover i felt the car is smoother now. hope this helps some of you.
p.s. the car is only 3500 kms driven and i think the mileage will improve with more mileage.

Sure, will do as soon as i am done with the tank. With school runs I would get somewhere around 21 at the refill as shown in meter but lets see whats the new cumulative average.

Were the tappets out of specs from factory. As 3500 kms do not wear them to an extent of readjustment.

My experience is 20 to 21 km per liter since taken out from dealership. The fuel avg reduces with aggressive pedal usage and while in heavy traffic conditions. The oil changed to 5W-30 at around 5k kms.

With nearly 7000 kms in 4 months.

Yes I was wondering the same. Usually a new vehicle do not require tappet adjustment.

even 21 km per litle is too much.. without AC on almsot half empty road it gives max 18 ..

if it is giving you 21 mean in 25 ltr you meter goes 21*25 = 525km ? after that u need refil the tank right?

Actually it's possible. I get 28+ kpl (according to cluster panel). Never did tank to tank comparison.

please.. in friends circle 3 altos almost all having same 17.5 avg .. with ac.

28+kpl is lot a lot man..i mean can you fill tank then keep eye on fuel guage and empty tank indicator

Sure I will try tank to tank after a week. I mostly use Alto for pick n drop my kids from school. There's a 1 week spring break in school.

I’m getting 525km on full tank on my ags on highway and city mix driving while in city it drops to between 475 to 500 depends upon traffic.

In Karachi, if it is AGS driven on peak hours, it gives 390-410 per full tank. the guage goes max 18.1 to 18.5.
if any point i get long drives at low peak hours then the needle goes till 20 mark.

I have driven the alto ags in lahore during feb which clocked more than 40k kms.
it was easily giving 21-22.

28+ kpl is impossible .. if it is then can you fill ur tank and calculate how much it goes in full tank ?

highway is not practical example of the avg calucations..

we drive in city 98%

so yea and on shahrae faisal .. evening aournd 6 .. (bumperto bumper traffic) it gives 17.5
