Yes I understand cluster panel average is not very accurate. I never did tank to tank calculation because even if it's giving 20-21 kpl in reality, I am happy with that.

Khair, I will do the tank to tank mileage test soon to get the real number.

To be honest i did not ask if the tappets had to be adjusted. I was just happy that they checked. They did compression test infront of me so that was good to see. I have had a brand new toyota and did not see them doing a compression test. I guess suzuki does these basic checks so when warranty is claimed they can know if it was a fault from the start or not. I think the major contributor of the fuel average would be the oil.
The major difference i have noticed is in smoothness and noise. The engine seems much more happy to rev without making too much sound. That being said the 3 cylinder sound is still there.

Not really. But truly I did not have any experience with Alto before so I had no idea what to expect. The car felt slow to respond in 4th gear which is still there but now it has better pickup now in 4th and in all gears. I just let them adjust and do what they needed in order to comply with the warranty requirements. At first i was also surprised that they said full tuning ho gi. I asked around from management and they told that this is done to ensure everything is alright. It was free so i let them do it. In future at every 5k kms i don't think i will get it done.

I live in Lahore and drive is 25 km one way from bahria till Mall road. I pass through one of the most crowded roads in Lahore. Also my mileage is at 21km/l now after congestion and driving like a maniac since two days just to enjoy pickup. will report at the end of the tank.

Need Some Serious Advice.

My car delivery too me was in August 2022
I did First free inspection on 1000 KM
Second at 5000 KM in December 2022 along with Oil Change

After first oil change in December at 5000 km my car is only driver 3200 more , Yesterda i receive a call from Suzuki Showroom they ask me to bring the car for oil change, as i said to them my due service is at 10000 km why should i bring in advance now, they told me oil life is only 3 month and must be replaced now, They sound like forcing me for oil change now,

What should i do? should i go for oil change or wait until 10000 Km?

I have AGS and its driven mostly in the rush area within city. hardly it goes on highway and its giving me 17.5 average as per ODO meter.

let me tell you my story my car arrived april 2022 .after driving exact 5k i went for oil change in month of October.

and now i m almost 8.5k driven and probably i will go for oil change after ramazan..

based on experience and discussion you have to change tthe oil after 5 month no matter how less milage you driven.

They said to me that oil life time is only 3 months.

its only drive 8.2k so far.

I am also planning to only change at 10k will this void the warranty? as its only been 3 months since my last oil change.

npe it will not if it was first oil then u could go for it..but not for 2nd. or 3rd

how much you driven after 1st oil ?

If it's 10W-40, then they are correct. Its life is 3 months or 5,000 km.
If it's 0W-20 or 5W-30, then its life is 6 months or 8,000 km.

Got 480kms in 22L all local with ac & reserve light was still not onn. Means can easily achieve 550kms in a tank.

today i babied the car all the way home only one 25 km trip and the car came to 22.7 km/l from 21. I think consistently cautiously driving can bring good results. I mean i could do 16-17km/l with gli if i changed the gears early and didn't go above 2k rpm. I am trying to use the car in manual mode as much as i can from now on since i am getting the hang of it and also in smaller geras AGS tends to holds gear a bit longer for my taste. Shifting on AGS is super easy. no clutch hassle and downshifts are auto

AGS is true blessing if anyone understood the true meaning of this technology. People here drives AGS just like conventional auto.

I actually like AGS too. Sometimes it still misbehaves in lower gears like some clunking sounds happen but the shifts are getting smoother day by day. I switch to auto mode when i wanna push the car as it holds gears very good but for economy i switch to manual.

i drove daily from Safoora to Mezan bank head office via Lyari Expressway approx 60km up and down. My AGS give 500km in 25 litter refile tank to tank and i push pedal really hard on daily basis to max 120km speed, i have done so far 16k in it with 0w20 oil.

can you try shahrae faisal kidding. its v.ideal route you are using well then its possible..

btw 120 speed is not recommended lol .. take care ur self.
