Last week I took my APV to a remote area and car worked fine. It remained idle for a few minutes (Car start AC running) when I was going back car stalled and wouldn’t start. As soon as it started, it stalled again. This went on for some time and then it started and I came back home. Yesteday, car stalled enroute murree and wouldn’t start. So Abu came back home. Now the funny thing is that on the way back, he drove the car at 100+KM/H and car ran perfectly without any issues at all. I’m guessing this has something to do with the fuel pump or fuel filter. What do you guys think?

I can understand your issue.
Your car doesn't start.
From your statement, I can say that there can be various reasons for it.
Your car starts but then stops.
Definitely your starter motor is fine.
Your distributor is doubtful.
If it is correct, then indeed you are facing a problem with the fuel injector, fuel pump or the fuel filter.
Your ECU computer could be corrupt.
Check it as well.

I don’t think it’s related to the ECU otherwise this issue should have been persistent.
That leaves the fuel pump or fuel filter option. But the problems is that car worked/works fine except on these 2 occasions. Either there is something very minor, or a replacement of a part is needed.

your are right to diagnose the Fuel Pump, The filter in fuel pump is clogged and causing starvation to injector rail. get work done before you are grilled by Abba Jan

Clogged fuel filter or a worn out fuel pump. When it gets heated it stops functioning and you get trouble.

Just wanted to share the fuel Average I got this week. Total fuel was 40 litres (full tank).
180KM in 11 litres (went to murree): 16.5KM/L
130KM in 9 litres (mostly city driving ISB+RWP): 14.5KM/L
210KM in 20 litres (tons of idling with AC): 10.5KM/L

this is actual fuel consumption for city usage., to be used as base line reference.

I can't really use it as a base line reference as idling was too much (car idling for 20-30 minutes with AC at least twice a day)

I had a question: Whenever I turn on the AC, the car seems to struggle as if someone is pulling it back/there is a car tied behind it. What could be the possible reasons?

cross check the ac idler pulley, bearing may have worn out

@capsat @Xulfiqar APV is stalling again now.
Car was working fine for the past few months but 2 days before, it started struggling and wouldn't accelerate. Then it started accelerating normally. Now, the car would only start after a few hours and will then struggle to accelerate after a few seconds. The fuel pump was changed 2.5 months ago. Any leads?

closely inspect the vaccum tubes,, igniiton cables. since winter started rodents locate warm place to hide and have some party over pvc cables in a vehicle
