yes sir, i guess thats correct. i am using the same and it says on the door card at the driver side.

can someone tellme if there are any oil changes at 1000km visit to 3s?

The stick under the bonnet says 10w40 oil but the manual says 0w5 i guess.

what oil should be used?

No oil change at 1000 kms.

Just follow what is witten in manual

My experience so far
I have driven it 1250 km so far
In first 500 km fuel average is 9-10 km/liter
Now as time passes average is increasing yesterday I have visited Peshawar and get fuel average of 18 km/liter

For the engine oil please see the chart... considering the temperature ranges in Pak during different seasons you can select the correct one....

But best is to use the one recommended by the manufacturer

Bro, in that case an average of 16 kpl on a highway is really low in my opinion. Maybe you should try out some other petrol pump for fuel, and get some technical help. BTW which highway did u travel on and for how long?
You say "reset the mileage". I hope you are actually resetting the "average", and not the trip meter. Just curious, and hope you wont mind my asking. Its an easy mistake to make.

why does the manufacturer confuses us by pasting a yellow sticker under bonnet of 10w40 and in manual it says 0w20.

0w20 looks like would be better if you use it in alaska if temprature is the main selection factor.

the manual is regulated by PTA so there is no chance it didnt go thru anyone else mind and they just kept distributing UK celerio manual lol

10W40 sounds too thick, i used to use it in my 7th gen civic 140k driven.

Brother manual says 0w20 is good for easy cold start & fuel efficiency. But other viscosities may be used if other factors like engine protection in high temperature environments is the priority (opinion).
Since Suzuki gives a 60k km /3year warranty so they use 10w40 oil, for less oil consumption in hot weather in most areas of pakistan. Less hassale of dealing with ppl complaining about "Gari tail khana shuru ho gai hai".

So, if one wants to avail warranty, then he/she is stuck with the 10w40 variant.

Because Suzuki has only two options in Suzuki Genuine Oil

5W30 named Efficient
and 10W40 named Ultimate and Premium

Engine protection is always a priority. To ensure that your vehicle performs optimally, your oil should retain a certain level of viscosity in all weather conditions. It should remain fluid at low temperatures (to make cold starts easier) and viscous at high temperatures (in order to provide protection and sealing).The oil grade that suits the engine optimally is always mentioned in the service manual. Better to check up with Suzuki guys at 3S and clear the confusion. Still, 10W 40 seems to be the correct oil grade...

The graph depicting engine oil and the one preferred marked is 0w20 which covers temp from -30 to +40 as per manual.

Are there even any brand in pak selling 0w20 lol??

I travelled from larkana to jacobabad...its 120km per side....i think the its correct mileage....however,may be with time it will improve

I travelled on cultus from ISB - Chiniot - ISB I loved the drive and average it gave surprisingly it has quite good grip as well. I think my average is around 20 as distance covered is 560 KM and petrol used is 28 liters. Speed was 100 -110 with 1 person one side and 3 persons on return journey. So I loved it.

5 w 30 is not the only oil that can be semi synthetic. Any oil grade can be synthetic or semi synthetic. It depends on the oil manufacturer. 10 W40 or 0 W 20 can be synthetic or semi synthetic as well....
