Suzuki Cultus EFI 2010 bad fuel average

I am having cultus 2010 EFI. there is an issue regarding fuel average. It is giving 6 to 7 km/ liter in city and 12 km/liter on highway. I got all things checked like spark plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter and everything else. My car have running of 53,000 kms and runs fine without any problem. I got injectors cleaned, throttle body clean and timing setting fixed but still no improvement in fuel average, can anybody help please

yes I have oxygen sensor, but no cat converter. I got oxygen sensor cleaned but still bad average.

If every thing is done then the last thing is to change your fuel station.

I think i should replace my oxygen sensor. may be cleaning it have not corrected its function

try any other fuel station, btw how do you refil ur petrol tank ? and kab refuel karte ho? and average kesey pata chal rahi k down hai ?

Fuel consumed divided by reading on odometer becomes km/l. i have tried many fuel stations.

with full tank to the minimum fuel remaining in the tank? or just random? and stick with any one fuel station. People mostly recommended to use company operated fuel stations. Try adding 6,7 litres of premium fuel with your normal fuel. and after u have done this whole work. kitni chal chuki hai gari?

because if everything is done and checked and serviced then fuel stations he reh jate hain. Did you checked the fuel pressure or find any petrol smell through exhaust. jis ko running rich b kehte hain?

Why dont you scan your ecu to get fuel trims. That is the proper diagnosis process.

with full tank, I do not go with premium fuel as compression ratio of Suzuki cultus does not support high octane fuel.vehicle have undergone 53000 kms. however i smell fuel in exhaust meaning air fuel ratio is off and fuel rich combustion is occurring in chambers.

brother you said earlier about trims. does suzuki wksp checks it. because mechanics ... they are mostly ignorant. Please do let me know what charges do they ask for checking or adjusting fuel trims.

last time i checked the value on my o2s sensor was about 0.10 but after cleaning oxygen sensor it reached maximum 0.35. could it be a problem with o2 sensor

If you use a smart phone then buy your own wifi scanner like Vgate Elm 327 v1.5(price range from 1500 to 2000 rupees only). Download SZViewer app on your smart phone.
You can scan live data from your ecu by that tool.
Share your short term fuel trim and long term fuel trim here with us. Fuel trims will show that is your engine lean or rich.

So your car is running rich my dear. Fix it hopefully you will feel the difference. only use premium fuel of 6 to 7 litres. with a refil ek ya do month k bad. alteast premium me impurities kam hoti hogi tou ander sey safai ho jae gi... but ap ney abi sab kuch replace ya clean karwaya hua hai tou u dont need it. air fuel ration wale factor ko thek karwao.

OBD2 is not present in CULTUS EFI. However OBD1 works. I changed the oxygen sensor and it works fine now. There was fault in oxygen sensor.

I also went with compression test of engine. It was good. However, i was using ZIC 10W-40 oil. They told me to shift to shell or Havoline instead of ZIC. Any suggestions on this as my car looses a quarter of engine oil every 2,000 kms.
