bhai whistle on brake means initial wear and tear of brake pads.1st do brake service and throw brake oil,put new brake oil of brand Guard.Brake service means cleaning of brake discs,break system and sanding of brake pads.If brake pads r much damaged then replace them

I installed new brake pads in Jan'17 after servicing and sanding.
also poured new brake oil sekem bf dot3 in jan 17.
Kindly let me know good brand of brake pads.

2006 cultus vxr, blue, driven about 62+k, asking 540k dead. Defects are that the trunk has small dents, rear bumper paint is cracked hence needs a respray, bonnet also dry dented, hence looks hideous, one door has a small paint crack, faded lights all around, one ac grill broken. These can be ignored as the car is "janyan" but my ocd is kicking in. Battery needs replacement. Apart from these mechanically the car is sound. Is the demand ok ? or should we negotiate.

Bought the car in 535k. Just came back after returning it because we took the papers to a car dealer, the owner gave us the new computerised book and a file with many papers. The dealer said that the old book should be there but the owner showed us a book with only record of tokens and showed us a paper saying that this paper was taken from that old book and the old one is obsolete now. The owner said he will bring transfer letter and also will transfer the car to our name with our expense. He said give me a week or 10 days for this process. My dad backed out and we came back. Can you or anybody tell me if we did the right thing or not ? The owner was taking complete responsibility that if there is any issue with papers he will take the car back and give us the money. This was to be written on stamp paper tomorrow. What do you say ?

Bhai u should have showed papers to ur known showroom person. Good car is not easy to find.

The showroom wala was uncle of my friend who was with me for this deal. I drove the car it was very nicely kept mechanically.

I had got my radiator serviced back in 2014 thoroughly and all the coolant was drained at that time and refilled with Suzuki Coolant at that time.

anyway i have got it checked from a mechanic and he said it seems like bad radiator cap, means cap rubber has completed its useful life. better to change the cap with best quality either kabli(used) or go for a brand new from a reliable parts shop or from the Suzuki 3S dealership. According to him car is not heating up which means gasket is in good condition. Reducing coolant is either due to leakage or bad radiator cap. So im gonna starting up with changing radiator cap.

Buy japani new cap of 0.9rating. Don't buy 1.1 rating one. Its 250 for brand new!

Thanks for the advice, same advice was given by mechanic. That if go for kabli then it should be in good condition, if go for new then try to find japanese one. or buy from 3s, btw whats the price at 3s dealership any idea?

There was no old book thingy. Previously you were given a registration document (a single page) when you registered your car at excise. This original document should be kept safe and should be handed over when selling the car.
A file comes with every new car that carries all purchase records, engine and chassis details etc. It must be handed over while selling.

Now if you transfer your car in your own name, excise will give you a new book. That will carry many empty pages to attach token paid record etc. If previous owner already has this book and if you transfer car in your name, the record will be updated in that book.
