It is just 100-150 ppm difference in SG and SJ/SL. That is not a big deal. Although, SG to SM and SN makes a huge difference.

Bhai 100-150 ppm matters and other factors too.....otherwise 150-200 ppm of ZDDP difference between SM and SJ will also be no different and actually in fact it is not only zddp, there are other specs too that's why API classify them different grades otherwise same grade SG will last for long

Simply see, If this would be case why dont Pak Suzuki start producing or marketing SJ or SL grades. why they stick to old SG grade? They are already marketing SM grade so it was golden chance or marketing technique for them to introduce SJ or SL grade now?

ZDDP additives are available readily in markets to meet this gap up of 100-150 ppm. If 100 ppm is not the issue, there was no use of blending Zddp additives

In each version/grade, there are some unique specs. which causes them to issue new version/grade because environmental standards are more regularized and standardized than older times.

You know better what is the "Technological advance" in 3 decades old Cultus Engine and Carby version and so called EFI Version Similarly you can understand 3 decades old Mehran carby and latest "EFI" version

Yes as far as one's car have this tappet noise/setting and cam worn out issue and f.t related issues, it is recommended to use appropriate Zddp valued Oil....Even if u r not satisfied with Suzuki product(Although formulated by Total), you can use any other engine oil brand who has similar 10W40 API SG or compatible specs.

Every body has its opinion based on his/her experience. We all must respect each other's view & opinion.

In my experience so far & as u know i have already shared many times in different posts and tried in different cars so Sanden is not bad option.

My conclusion of seeing A/c in almost 3.5 to 4 decades is that in A/C do not use any used/old/refurbished part & do not look for any service or jugaar
So i can recommend you to go for Sanden 505 or equivalent Piston based compressor. BTW personally after learning and experiencing my friend's, colleague's and relatives, I have also tried compressor with brand name "Lianden". although it was Chinese manufactured but i have always find it Superb so based on personal experience, i can recommend it too. In the beginning i was reluctant to switch brand but after experiencing, I have personally installed it in my family cars.

I am roughly telling you price that put a budget of 25K - 30K for whole setup for your Cultus(minimum 25 K )
Most of A/C walas now try to trap u like this to install Terios Kid compressor or other Rotory compressors(Remember Rotory compressor are fragille and ir-repairable while Piston based are usually Repairable) Never come in such gossips.

In my opinion, instead of Servicing your condenser, it is time to change your condenser as well as inner Coil. Market is full of Chinese items; some of them are really ok quality-wise while some are just..CHINA KA MAAL HAAY..CHAL GAYA TO CHAND TAK..NAA CHALEY TO SHAAM TAK
so IN CONDENSOR, LOOK FOR GOOD BRANDS LIKE Pico, Koolman

BTW also note that Sanden also comes in 3-4 variants: Singapore Manufactured, Malaysian(Same Singaporian), Sanden Thailand & Sanden China or Sanden Shinghai

Conclusion: New Sanden 505 compressor or Lianden 505
New Condenser(Brands: Pico, koolman etc.)
New inner coil
Service Fan motor & check its carbon / bushes(If not speedy then replace motor; it will cost u extra Rs. 1500/=)
WHY AM I RECOMMENDING NEW PARTS THAT AT LEAST U CAN TAKE WRITTEN 1 YEAR WARRANTY FOR ALL PARTS(Fan motors usually dont have guarantee but if u will take from Suzuki 3 S dealers then there will be 6 months warranty)

Bhai im out of bughet and i will be selling this car in near future... Im gling for kabuli sanden which came in my car company fitted i think a good compressor can serve my purpose well but its very diffucult to find one in good condition.

Keep one thing in mind that Cultus is just 993 CC so u cannot install bigger compressor or Heavy A/C setup so it is unfair to compare performance of A/C in cultus with the one in Civic or City or Corolla.
Usually people used to say "800 & 1000 CC mey ya to ap A/C chala Lo ya gari chala Lo"

In General, A/C of Cultus is good(Not Excellent or too good but better than Fair or Bad)

My car has slow pick up with AC on CNG, so if I change gear at 2K rpm its almost dead, have to shift gear at 2.7 or 2.8 for sufficient power. And sorry you suggest to visit mechanic for rpm setting but I couldnt go.
As much springs are concerned, they were making lot of noise. Today I went again to mechanic, he did some oiling and setting... now noise is reduced on bumps.

Abhi sanden ka apna compressor lagwa kr a rrha hon cooling is good tripping too much as adjusted by mechanic but im still worried kay leakage na ho jaey,
About sanden repair my compressor was broken into two half pieces was it repairable?
