As a general rule, is it necessary to change Steering assembly or steering rod or steering rack if you want to convert manual steering into
HPS or EPS

Good point. Which part/parts of suspension can make steering hard in Cultus?

Oversized tyres, wrong alignment , worn out steering cross, the rack itself (it has an adjuster)

because in the right condition, cultus steering is very soft.

I second this. I wonder why people wanna go for power steering in cultus, might be their steering too hard.
My Cultus steering is very soft ma sha Allah and whoever drives it for the first time asks if its power steering...

The eps really takes away the road feel. It is no good imho

Front shock absorbers (kabli) are recently changed in my cultus and steering is bit hard now. What could be the possible reason? It was much better before this work.

Can we adjust rpm on auto choke at cold start.?
Currently it reaches 2 - 2.5
As Tstat is absent so it takes long to reach back to normal. I see there are adjustment marks on auto choke so it might be adjustable.

Strut bearings might not have been installed.

The shocks rotate when steering is turned. There is a bearing installed in top mount

Ok I will check manual and google around for its settings. Cooling system is bit weak so haven't installed tstat yet but fan is auto.

Today, purchased agriauto shocks for margalla, which are cultus shocks.

genuine mounting and bearing was not available , so i have delayed the job

for margalla this is genuine bearing , probably same for cultus. Should be replaced when shocks are replaced

Pump the dampers by your hands and compare them to your old dampers. If they are a lot more stiffer and harder to pump, return them.

They feel soft. Which doesnt make sense to me right now, theyre supposed to slow down the movement

Pump the dampers by your hands and compare them to your old dampers. If they seem relatively stiffer and harder to pump, return them.

The shock absorbers get soft when worn out, that is why the car do nose diving when hard brakes are applied.

That I know, but they shouldn't seem too hard or too soft. I made a mistake of not checking their stiffness and now my car is as hard as a rock. There's no damping at all.
