Check engine oxygen sensor installed near exhaust system. Do check your catalytic converter and wash it through a skilled mechanic only.
It will improve your car fuel and pick efficiency upto an optimal level.

Don't remove catalytic converter.

AoA dear members, I'm looking for a sincere advice. I have a 2004 cultus (3 cylinder, carburator), although the engine is still ok in power etc, but there is white smoke in cold/first start that settles down (only comes with high revving), also the crank has a bit of a play. My mechanic gave me 3 options; change engine with either EFi cultus, Vitz Auto Engine Or 660cc turbo engine (the later two options require alterations). All of them have a cost of 1lac +, but one should opt for something that can last a few good years without the hassle for going back & forth to workshops.
Has someone tried different engine setup, especially 660cc conversion ?

If engine is fine then no need to swap. As it comes with it's own hassle and wouldn't be perfect until you are good enough to work yourself.

guys what is exact oil quantity required in carby cultus 3-cylinder? efi 4-cylinder takes 3.5L.

I've this problem with cultus 2012 driving seat that it is slightly leaned backwards as if the seat is in sleeping position. Whenever I adjust the seat, it does come to its orginal place but doesn't lock there and go back to the leaning position. Not just this but even if I move my seat backward and forward, the seat does not autmatically lock. I have to manually push the lever down to lock the seat. what could be the problem?

probably its teeth which lock seat in place have worn out... you will have to take out seat and examine closely and fix/replace if worn

Pls correct my understanding if its not right

I have 2008 EFI, of which both radiator and condenser fan works separately independently as required... Meaning the radiator fan will switch on and off as per coolant\engine temperature, irrespective if AC is on or off, right?... While the AC fan will work as per its own set up.

Some owners are having a different setup though... That is when AC is on the radiator fan also switches on... Meaning whatever the coolant\engine Temperature is, radiator fan will turn on too... Those owners say this setup improves AC cooling.... Does it really affect?

My understanding is both fans as per factory setup run separately, and there cannot be any improvement in AC cooling if radiator fan turns on too, cause AC has it own fan for the heat transfer from condenser.. and changing this setup may later on cause problems of engine running colder when AC is on, right?

Yes they run separately from factory, people do it to protect engine from overheating, changing this will not effect and engine will not run colder with ac on, as there is thermostat valve to maintain engine temperature...

Your existing setup is as per company spec. & Factory calibrated.
Don't mess up with 2nd methodology which you mentioned otherwise this will affect your economy plus some other parameters too.

Aoa, firstly thanks to all member's for sharing such a knowledge its really worth reading. I'm new here and recently bought Cultus 08 and very happy to join this thread. Its my first car, and really like to learn and maintain it as much as i can. As its a used car I'm getting these two issue right now and would like to hear if somebody find and fixed it as well. Thanks in Advance.

RPM (Normally on first start rpm raise up to 2 and in few minutes get back to 1.5-1.6)
Issue
Basically when i put car in gear and move it forward rpm get back and start from 1 up till i rev according to gear. So explaining it in simple words when i raise clutch and if leave gas as well still car kept moving with rpm 1.5.
I'm not facing any rpm drop or raise issue with turning Ac or lights etc (mentioned my someone else before in this thread). Have recently changed plugs, filter, oil and done cleaning of throttle body as well in tuning.

When i start Ac a sound comes from engine bay i think its belt but not know exactly chek chek and its increase once rev

For your issue, what is the idle rpm maintained when you start your car keeping it in neutral gear?

In which city, are you located and do post pictures of your car too, from exterior, interior, engine bay, boot area etc.
