How much have you driven your bike? Get the bolts tightened.

The point to be noted is that each and every nut and bolt of a vehicle must not be either too loose or too tight
For this purpose the manufacturers specify the torque readings in the manual for each nut and bolt and for this purpose a torque wrench is to be used by the mechanics
but unfortunately in this country no mechanic has knowledge of this thing since the companies do not mention these settings in their product manuals:-#
Over tightening a bolt also has dire consequences at high speeds

Hi all, Meri bike 80+ per chaal marti hai jese kuch dheela ho iska and aaj suddenly front shockers ki smoothness gayab hogai jese handle from T is loosen ??? What could bethe problem ?? ?

get rims aligned. i think spokes are getting loose.
also get your handle checked, could be a simple case of loose handle bolt.

So i was in Islamabad last week and went to Mr. Suzuki and met mechanic Safeer.
He told that earlier he was using piaggio stuff to install diskbrake on GS and it used to cost around 14K. But now it has become expensive and also getting very hard to find, so not much of an option any more.
And he told that he is getting some other suzuki bike's parts imported now and it'll cost around 12K for complete discbrake setup. I said just take my money and give me the parts but he said that he has ordered 2 sets only which will arrive in about a month or so and are booked already Too much of hassle for a non-local.
Also happened to meet 12gauge sir who was there with his tour king. Felt totally jealous looking at the discbrake installed on his bike.

Yar mairay bhai ki bi baat hui thi safeer say bahi nay us say pucha tha k agar piaggio ka sara setup jo k 6K tak ka mil rha hay Al haq autos say mil rha hay lay aeay to kia without any modification detup install ho jeay ga to us nay kha k ho jeay ga so 6K k disc brake k parts, 750 ka deluxe ka rim add to it 2K mazduri of safeer and the job should be done in about 8K max

6K for discbrake parts??? what exactly is included?? does this include shocks as well??
750 for Deluxe rim??? only rim ring costs about 1000 rupee and then there are spokes, central hub, speedometer wire assembly... what about these??

Disk brake whole kit for 6K included Disc, oil lines, reservoir bottle etc etc
Does not include shocks
i inquired about the parts from Al haq ravi autos and he said k everything that you need regarding disc brake assembly will cost you approximately 6K

because left shock will have bolt holders for fitting discbrake calliper. And naturally if you change left, you'll have to change right one also to keep length/balance.
I don't know how he is saying no modifications are to be made while he himself used piaggio shocks on 12gauge's tour king.
ask him about this.

sor a moment if we set aside money, what about swapping the whole assembly of Honda 125 Delux in GS ? I know if Piagio is costing 14k, Honda will cost 20-22k but doe anyone have enquired about it before ? at least the parts will be very good to invest on first up. What you guys say ?

i once asked from a Honda service center in Pindi. He quoted 18K for whole Deluxe setup including discbrake, shocks, front wheel assembly everything. It was few months back.
I think there should be no issue with Deluxe stuff as well. But deluxe shocks come in black only... right?? while piaggio's come in same colour as GS. Also fender bolt positioning is different on Deluxe so you'll have to change to Deluxe front fender as well, while on piaggio's setup you can keep your original front fender.

And yeah, even piaggio's stuff isn't costing 14K anymore, go check the prices from mcleod road.

So would it not be better to change the assembly of Honda, be it with front fender or it can be something to work on. My GS's front shocks are almost gone, leaking, so I am thinking about doing this. Agar kera hey to phir us ko katna bhi poora hi chahiye takey maza bhi aaye lol

well it's upto your preference.
I don't want a plastic fender at front at all. I usually hang heavy stuff on safe guard and plastic fender might take hit.
since your shocks are already gone, and you will be spending on the new one's anyway, i would say definitely go for discbrake setup.
And yeah also Deluxe's discbrake is double piston while piaggio is single piston, not sure how much difference it's gonna make in real life usage

I don't want a plastic fender at front at all. I usually hang heavy stuff on safe guard and plastic fender might take hit.
since your shocks are already gone, and you will be spending on the new one's anyway, i would say definitely go for discbrake setup.
