Thanks @gull_s_777 bhai, that's actually pretty neat. at those RPMs it's understandable why this could be a good alternative, but only time will tell.

Also, we're not getting that round headlight for now, At least from what I've seen, we're getting a different looking headlight and also the gauge cluster is a bit different

To be honest Kachra Bike.... Suzuki Gixxer SF(with ABS) is 1000 times better bike, which cost around 95000 Indian rupees and which is 156000 Pakistani Rupees,

People should reject this and demand at least the same bike in the region....

Bhai its all about Bench Marking @Aqeeq .... Honda brought its Chinese version .... Ever wondered how come all the mobile companies come up with almost same feature at the same time ..... i believe if Yamaha is gona bring its 150 its gona be same shit category as honda or suzuki's new 150s.....

Achi bike Lenae ka wahid tareeqa Pakistan main yahi ha import hui bike lain . Yaha per thaki hui Chinese technology lain kar atae ha .be it Honda or suzuki .due to lacklustre response from general public regarding Yamaha yb 125 Yamaha might also follow same route as Honda suzuki now regarding future launch of products.

No bro you can't say ask why Yamaha was the pioneer in pakistan to bring this kind of stuff first.
In shape of ybr.
Now ahl and other companies just telling people after ybr that we can also bring some thing but in this hurry they are just playing tactics to make fool innocent people of pakistan.
If Yamaha will bring 150 cc it will bring fz 16 atleast.
As yamaha has proved that yamaha is game changer in shape of ybr in pak bike industry.

I highly doubt that . Ybr z was a step back by Yamaha .they have also realised that Pakistani awam is more price conscious then interested in getting a quality product for more price . Even if Yamaha gets a 150 cc bike in our market it will be the cheap Chinese knockoff of Yamaha and not fz16 . Yamaha had good intentions when they entered the market but our awam is not in the mood to justify their good intentions . Yamaha sales are only 7,000 -8,000 now .had they been even in the category of 100,000 or close to it .you would had seen new heavy bikes of Yamaha coming to Pakistan imported or locally assembled.

For yamaha here to introduce fz 16 around 170k to 180k shouldn't be a big deal.
They also introduced ybr on justified price without ripped off people's pocket.

This is fake news, the same person first claimed that GS150R was being launched, he spreads these rumors without any sources, the Suzuki dealers say they are not aware of any such new bike coming in the 150cc category.

Yamaha was not a pioneer, before YBR there was Ravi Piaggio, Unique, Super Power and Zxmco that brought new looking bikes to Pakistan. Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki followed their lead because they were losing market share to those brands. YBZ is a disgrace, it is an overpriced bike designed to fleece the public, following the lead of Honda CG. Soon Yamaha will pack up and leave Pakistan because their strategy failed.
