buying a new bonut is a good thing. atleast it will not be soft and its inner "JAAL" would be intact. Buying a used one have a probability of it getting soft metal which tends to get pressed when someone sits or any heavy thing is placed.

@mustansirbillahasada make sure ur painter make inner Dori when he paints the bonut.

Some new update:
Dashboard has been repaired from Ikram Dashboard as suggested earlier. there were some problems with it, but not anything major. It costed me 8k. Ikram bhai also painted the steering cover and some trims including the ones present underneath the dashboard to match to the dashboard (included in the cost).

Why steering cover was painted when u can get new cover from market.

Oh! thanks for pointing that out. I will get them painted black InShaAllah. For the steering, I felt as it was not damaged but had just a few scratches and it was being painted in the included cost of dashboard repair.

Are you talking about the local ones or the used ones?
As mentioned by @nnabeel, the used one will be used, degraded and aged. Also, it would be very hard to identify amount of rust accumulating underneath the paint and would be difficult to differentiate whether its local made or genuine. If you are talking about purchasing a locally made fender and bonnet, it has fitment problems and lines and panels gaps are not identical.

Dear bro, please share the pictures of painted steering. Have you repaint all the patriyan(Roof pillar covers, Floor cover, tyre arch cover, jamb, sill) all in default gray color?

As some brother, perhaps @nnabeel
suggested that you paint a/c grill and console box lock in gray color.....Was black color came in default or gray.... Surprisingly my dashboard a/c vents / Grills are also in gray color and so is the console box lock

The passenger side ac vents on my khyber are also grey but console box opener is black.

All vents and lock in my car are black... In later models when suzuki started to cheap out on things they started doing these in the same color...

Those are probably done by the previous owner. Usually they are all the same color as the dash

Yes, in my recent Khyber, it has original one so all in same color gray

@brownrose78 The whole steering was not painted just the horn cover was painted in the same color as dashboard. Also, only 2 interior trims, present under the dashboard were painted to the same color. I will get rest painted in the same color when car is being re-assembled.
Also, about the side grills, I will get them and dashboard lock painted black as mentioned by @nnabeel. The side grills were of light grey-greenish color before. I know that before 2011, at some point dashboard was changed to Khyber one by the previous owner.
