@brownrose78 @capsat @omersiddiqui5482 i used to have an issue with the readings in my meter ,,, speed thri ziada dikhata tha, fuel ki reading sai nahi thi ,, got the meter checked and serviced by Hafiz Gee, he said that meter is OK just 10km ki speed ziada dikha rha wo b unho ne set kr dya ,,, then i changed my fuel gauge (jo tank m lgta)... previously china ka lga hua tha ,now i replaced it with Japanese.. fuel gauge check kr k liya tha,,, ab fuel reading phle se b ziada off hogai hai,,, it just shows half tank ,, us se 10% uper and neeche jata bs..... what to do?

There is something wrong with the fuel sender unit you installed in the tank... Are you sure the part was genuine?

as per the Shop owner and the Country Make markings on the gauge, it was not china or local ... this is confirm ..
someone told me that if you change the gauge, you need to re-calibrate your gauge with meter readings... will this help? if yes, whom shall get it in touch to get it done?

Take both the things to Hafiz jee he will recalibrate the thing... If the sender unit is working properly...

The float of the fuel guage is not calibrated. the thin rod needs to be adjusted within the tank. if it is bent more than the required level it will show incorrect reading.

I thoroughly rechecked the area but wasn't able to find the bent.

For now petrol is being pump from A 5 liter Bottle, Return Line is not connected, Air Filter is not Attached and some other little things are not configured. It is initial start other things will be configured soon

Have you installed new PCV valve?

Which viscosity oil & grade is in the Engine right now?

When are you sending it to oven booth?

JazakAllah. I think new PCV valve was installed. Will confirm. Also, We are using 20W50 viscosity as suggested by mechanic to keep the warranty, given by him, intact. After the break-in period we will InShaaAllah change it with 10W40. Car will be to sent to booth on Monday or Tuesday.

Jazak Allah Bhai, your Khyber's progress is going very good, reason behind is of course yours & your brother's detailed interest, effort, seeking knowledge, gathering information, listening to others (Big factor-Big impact) & finally your Research habit in microscopic way

I will suggest you to write Log/diary daily or weekly from this stage as you will forget many small/minute details later.

Which oil viscosity are you using in your Gear ? If i remember, you have also overhauled it from Sagheer Centre. Apparently, your engine built seems very excellent work, good and strong with Quality parts as well as Quality machine works(Here credit also goes to your that educated machinist too who has openly awared you about the work and did not hesitate to share information with you people as a customer/client; Share their details here too for helping other pakwheelers)

Similarly, do good quality work in your exhaust system work as well as Suspension system after good research. Also let me know if any item or parts or service is required.

JazakAllah for a kind feedback. Yes, It is a good idea to document the small detail. Will do from this point InShaaAllah. Also, We are using Caltex 80W90 for gear oil. we wanted to go for 75W85 Zic Synthetic Oil but everyone we talked said that seals will start leaking do not put thin oil in it. So, if all is good we will change the oil after 5000-10000 kms.

Front Suspension, rear brake drums and Exhaust were changed before restoration. some front axel boots were leaking so, they were changed too. All the suspension work was inspected recently.

Please clean the roof metal thoroughly before base is prepared.
Plus pay attention to points highlighted in red.

Yes @capsat I mentioned the same places as highlighted. I told him to seal these with silicon sealant and paint again

Well this is very important, do not go for desi exhaust parts. In my project I initially used a desi exhaust then shifted to Baleno's original exhaust and it made a world of difference.
