Suzuki Khyber 1989 Restoration

I am about to buy Halogen Bulbs for Khyber front and rear Lights.

For the front Electrician advised us to go with Koyoto 90/100 W bulbs

For rear we have option of GoldStar (Local) Bulbs vs Ultra Light Taiwanese bulbs.

Please suggest.

Just buy phillips Rally vision 90/100 w standard H4 bulbs. these are excellent in terms of both power and usage.
dont go for any blue lights or hids.

if u have budget buy philips LED bulbs or OSRAM led bulbs for back lights. they will cost more but they are best.

@nnabeel But won't they be illegal or are they yellow in color. Also, wouldn't they burn silver reflective material of headlight?

Is that plain water in the cooling system?

Yes. Our plan is to completely flush and change to coolant once everything is fitted and car is ready.

No i am also using these are standard bulbs like normal light but they are bright.

Go to magazine lane market, inside there is a shop named bulb house. they deal only in bulbs all kind from cheap to expensive.

As told and discussed, my experience in this regard is different.
I will still advise to stick with stock 60/55 rating as i have learnt from seniors here at pakwheels in different posts + practical lesson learnt due to damages so my conclusion & vote is for 60/55 Watt Bulbs

Actually it is combo of multiple factors like concerned Bulb type, bulb holder, bulb Point/connector, wiring, Fuses, relays, head light housing, headlight enclosure cooling capacity, chrome finish within headlight enclosure etc. which all gets affected due to usage of high rating Bulbs.

I too melted my fuse box after installing above rating watts (headlight bulbs) and don't touch the glass of bulb with fingers too while installing

Been using 100 W bulbs since 2012 in my Khyber I think. But the wiring was changed and a relay was added. Now I am not sure if that affects the overall electrical load but have not experienced any melting. However, that was back then, a good 55w bulb can give good light output, wattage doesn't means more light. I had good quality nightbreakers for my city in 55w and there was a massive improvement in the light output over the stock bulbs with same wattage. I'd suggest to get good quality 55w bulbs. Maybe look into LEDs for halogen bulbs if they make any. A moderate investment on the lighting front is always worth it imo.

JazakAllah Everyone for the valuable input. Will surely consider the factors mentioned here. @Deadly_Flame and @nooire731 relay and new wiring connection is the smart way to do it but again it will cause inconvenience for other traffic and will melt the reflective material in headlight. I think it is best suited as fog light or light for driving off-road.

good low beam head lights are vital with current road conditions of our country and also need good high beam to use as warning for habitual High beam riders

Not Buffed yet and parts will be installed from tomorrow onwards...

Also guide me on how to verify that the rocker arms are in good condition or have worn out ,, (market m orgnl rocker arms orignl/japenese nahi mil rhe, only chinese (claimed taiwan) avlbl, searched all plaza,, rocker arm ki rod genuine mil rhi , even the kabuli parts wala suggested thar rocker arm genuine milna bohat muskil
