Assalam o Alaikum hope u r all fine.
first, this is the best forum i have ever seen for khyber cars.
the pictures of my khyber 95 is attach here. please see and tell me some things.
1. i want to change the seats, kindy suggest what should i do? let me inform the price as well? ( i m in islamabad).
2. there are some rust on my floor and on some body of car, kindly tell me how to remove it, any lubricant?
3. suggest good shiner for my car.
4. which is best engine oil for it? i m using castrol GTX.
5. there is gear oil leakage? how much cost for its repair ?

1. A big problem : gives smoke, if i press accelerator, but a little(almost 0.5 litre) oil is reducing on 17000km. Should i go for enginer overhauled now. or wait till the its working. i have changed the rings and many other things of engine since 2 years away.

Please help me yar. muge in seats say back pain start ho gya ha so informed me k pindi main kaha sa change karwaon, kis quality ki? kia kahun shop walay ko? kis k pass jaon. plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Ok.
Get the seats re-furbished. I mean cushion and Poshish work. No idea about cost. But It could be around 5K I guess

For Small rust patches, use D40

I think Engine is getting weak. You might need a complete overhaul. But till thn run it as such! change oil regularly. When It will reach its end, do complete overhaul

Gear seal leak is a minor fix. It can be done without opening the gear box

I use Zic, you are using a good oil!

Use Cosmic Wax to polsih your car!!

Asa, I also own a khyber as in i will....i'm a student. My father bought it. Now i want to modify and completely restore my car. the denting and body work is done now I'm waiting for the weather to change so i can get it repainted. I'm planning to modify my car performance and visually. Please rozzzz bhai help me with these things:
1. A good workshop to get it painted..... where and what time of the year.
2. I need power windows and retractable mirrors....
3. I'm looking forward to upgrade my car performance wise so can it be done on the same engine to increase some horses or i need to swap it....if swap is the only option then tell me which is the best and most powerful engine for it.

1..i m islamabad so i can suggest u here...u need to ask lahore members for that

2...power windows ..get motors from cultus..and use panel from 86 corolla.....try to find auto side mirrors came in few version named under sprint

3.....on same engine can be done...but not much response.....
like u do 2k for air intake..4k for piping..3k for exhaust...7k for headers ...2k for good wires...2k for plugs...so after spending more then 20k...
all u do is get head to head with vitz.....fuel economy goes

but if u get a new engine with extra 30 or 40k......u will be eating reborns..and still mileage better then a corolla.....on CNg almost same as mehran

engine go for G15 or g16......parts no issu...or g13b as if u get bolt on khyber then its like 22 year old engine..though u can find Mk3 cultus shape engine with same level mods......as u do for g15 or g16...and i have done the same

so parts r issue for g13b..but u have alot of performance parts in market

you can work out the yr stock seats....leather is good....but in summer...not a good idea...better try to get in cloth

getting after market seats..try to fins seats came in surf..recaro .sports 1...mostly used in charades

Lovely lovely... khyber... i enjoy my 1998 khyber's ride while going to university... . i bought 6 months ago... it was used in petrol.... i installed lendirenzo kit... and giving very economic average in CNG with very nice pick up..... i love khyber.....

Dear friends plz guide me. I have 95 khyber. yesterday i went to mechanic for its maintenance . As i heard some news in front tyres. the mechanic opened the front tyres, changed barring and grease it. I changed 3 baaring(Japani) of 320 rupees each. total 960.
He removed the axel and give kharati to repair.i think usay godda kehtay hain. kherati ne is kaam k 1500 liye hain. (only one godda is repaired)then mechanic also adjust the cng settings. and silencer ka 1 bolt bi neechay sa us ne lagaya ha.
He get 800 rupees for all this work.
total. 960, 1500, 800
I want to ask k kia itnay hi paisay bantay hain ya ye mechanic ziada leta ha? plz suggest . i am new.i need all of ur guidance. BTW I m in Haripur

well as far as baring its cost 160 for normal 1 and 320 for jap....both side have 2

so when ever u change ...change both......

what we did with them.....repaired 1 last around 3 or 4 more month...and i think u can buy new 1 in that price......boot replacement cost not more then 300....

u paid a bit more ...he should have charged u something between 400 to 600
