Yes absolutely. Number 1 issue with 10+ year old car is going to be maintenance, no one is going to give you award for having abs/seat warmer/climate control/1000s other features if the car doesnt work and comes to standstill. Maintenance wise, this forum is full of liana nightmares so make your decision wisely. One more point to consider is in previous times, liana was used on CNG making engine troubles. Undoubtedly well kept, neat liana is excellent, but finding it is a major challenge and if anything goes wrong, you will be in a world of pain. As you are a beginner/new to field of cars my sincerest suggestion is to go for city 2005-7 which is a full sedan and has the cheap, easily available maintenance. Moreover, most roadside mechanics will be able to tackle its issues, while no one will touch liana unless specialized. Be very careful, kal ko ap 10 lac k baad road k kinaray kharay achay nahi lago gay. My suggestion get a city in 8-8.5 ish and keep remaining amount to make it fit. Last, do your own survey: go to nearest parts market and ask price of any common part of city vs liana, ask a mechanic engine change cost of both, your eyes will pop open nicely.
