Suzuki Mehran Ac Issue

I agree with use of copper radiator.. But I am not agreed to remove thermostate valve,fan direct and to use just tap water.. U will ruin ur copper radiator in months..
Logic:
upon heating salt from water like calcium carbonate undissolved from water and precipitate on the metal surface causing heat transfer resistance.. And forms scale and foulants.. And these salts keep on increasing with cycles. You can't avoid these. Even if u use demineralized water which has minimum salts you must have to use chemicals.
Chemicals makes sure that these salts remains in dissolved format in water and do not precipitate out.. That's how a coolant works..

If it was a car other than mehran sure i would back u up I have 2007 model mehran vxr i bought it brand new from showroom like u i had used osaka coolant timely changed it n mixed its ratio but after 5 years of usage in 2012 but radiator started rusting out so i had to buy a new n change it one of the experince radiator guy told me not to use coolant ever again in mehran ur radiator will last up to 10 years or so and there is always wear n tear in mehran now matter how much u care u will end up maintaing mehran alhamdullilah up till now the water has remained clear...

In june july august temperature reaches soaring 40c throughout pak.. any less than 5 year old mehran will have heatup issue if not removing thermo valve n using full ac.. fan direct is also a must n then place it on auto in october along with thermovalve

Have u cleaned radiator in these 5 years? Using chemicals doesn't mean that u forget to do preventive maintenance..

U only need to clean radaitor when it starts to show problem or muddy water.. otherwise i now always change complete water after every tuning..

Whatever the car, using just water will kill stuff on the inside - you only get to know it when the deed is done.
Used to use osaka coolant. Still had the radiator clogging and heatup problems.
Shifted to zic since last one year after people's reviews and recommendations. Rabb ka shukar, going great.

I said did u checked it's Ph, base chemical ratio, and dissolved solids..? I am using zic in my cultus.. Did not see any difference on results.
They both are same chemicaly..

Rust is coming from radiator because your radiator is previously runs in water or has rust in it..

Mehran 2012 vxr, ac always on.
Before this I used Suzuki coolant which forms rust just after 2 months. Because my radiator needs to be cleaned. After cleaning I poured Oksana coolant in it. Still like new and neat after 4 months.

It doesnt have to cleaned the problem is of the coolant thats why actually created the rusty dusty water..turbo charge bhai ap apne ke car ke sath experiment mat karo i also have used geniune osaka coolant bought from metro long before u im not satisfied with its results.. i had taken advice from a friends radiator mechanic his daily job is this he has tens of ppl daily with radiator issues n he says the main problem of everybody is they use coolants in mehran in the end they have to buy a new one .... he says if u so desperate to even use coolant buy the most expensive one u can find e.g liquimoly n premixed ones

Will surely go for some other coolants as well.. But still not satisfied to use just tap water.. Yes demineralized water is better option

Suzuki long life coolant is for 500rs/ 1liter premixed..why someone shouldn't opt for caltex or Zic in lesser amount

Zic is pretty inexpensive, but it is oldschool coolant needs change after 1yr/25000km. Caltex is good and can work till 3yrs/100k km

in the morning when car is cold, remove the radiator cap, start the engine. now keep looking inside. first you should see almost no flow of water, and then after a bit, it will be a fast flow. keep one hand on the pipe attached to the top of radiator. it will also be cold but get hot suddenly

You can tell if a thermo is in a car in a jiffy, on a cold start in the morning, just put your finger in the radiator with car started, if you feel water temperature chaning (heating up) within 30 seconds there is no thermo present. Also if there is no thermo present on a cold start your car will take 10 to 15 minutes to reach half mark (considering fan is auto). If fan is direct it might never reach half mark and stay near C or at 25%

Champs. I have checked my car the way both of you had instructed. At morning startup, the flow of water was seen even in cold engine and the hose pipe started becoming hot gradually and gradually, not all of a sudden.
And yes the car reached half mark after 10-15 mins. And the fan is auto

It was nice to have you on this thread @ahsanonline.Still can't decide what to do about this issue.

This post should have given you some ideas.
But if not, then:

1. Buy a new thermostat and radiator cap.
2. Install them.
3. Post a pic of radiator fan blades - they should not be distorted/ wavy (air throw should be good).

Then we go further from here...

I have a Suzuki mehran 1990 model in perfect condition body & engine wise.This summer i planned to install ac in my car.I have purchased and installed denso kabuli compressor and all the other stuff.Now i am facing overheating issue when air con is turned on.Without ac temperature gauge remains on C,But as soon as i turned on the ac temperature gradually increase to full.
Now i think i've spoiled my hard earned money.Your suggestions are highly appreciated.

Checklist:-

Just installed new radiator for 4000k but no luck.
There is no leak in cooling system.
Radiator fan is direct and working in perfect condition according to electrician.
Added green colored coolant with 50:50 ratio with water.
Also driven without front grill(jali) but no results.
