They shud have included 1.4T engine as it wud be good for 4x4, for 1.6 engine it wud be lil underpowered

Internationally the 1.4 turbo which is Vitara S starts at price point more than a fully loaded 1.6.. I think it would have pushed the price above a 4 million mark.. Although 1.4 comes with many features standard

Sounds tempting specially that it is readily avaliable and a jeep. Grey import Vitaras look good aswell.

And since this is made in Hungary I won't question it's quality but suzuki pakistan makes me go back to when a fully loaded rehana I mean liana, which was 795 and a xli 850+ still xli's are 1000s times better today.

And that suzuki pakistan would sell the imported units and then forget it's clients. One more thing is the 3S network of suzuki which I feel are all looters. I've only had good experience at Suzuki danish motors that too is 10 year old.

Car looks good in pics will have to check it at showroom.
But even if anyone buys this car then Suzuki after sales service will kill its future.
As read many negative comments about PS after sales service.

Yes the aftersales thingy is a big question mark and Suzuki has sown this stigma upon themselves. But forgetting all the remaining factors and focusing just on only the car itself Suzuki has done a good job. Their pricing strategy is slightly off though. Many will buy it even at 38 but could have been better for Suzuki if they initially gave it at a Promo price of not more than 35 for top Variant.

They should have then proved and made a place in the market before increasing the price. But overall I am impressed with the product. Let's appreciate the initiative at least. It will at least bring or start a competition for future products and be benefiting to the consumers

Too many negative comments against Suzuki. The amount of beating these cars can take can put many manufacturers to shame. The chassis and engines of these cars are actually very well made and if they are properly maintained with genuine parts; the engines do not usually die out. Yeah they use cheap plastics and the finishing processes at Pak Suzuki aren't that good but we should look at a car's "soul" when buying it and not it's appearance. What motor head looks at "paddle shifters" when buying a 1.5 liter commuter's car? Give them automatic everything and shiny lights and pakistani customers will flock around the car drooling over the button filled interior and 17-inch alloys and what not.

Actually I have already agreed to you on the previous page. I myself would prefer the Vitara eyes closed over HRV. Its simply having a better presence and a better load of features.

Apply it on your civic.. the same scenario ? Civic is localized .. I mean local assembly but 1.5 still more expensive..

I don't know how much diffrence it would make between 1.4 and 1.6.. I think these displacement are in same price bracket as far as duties .. may be not sure
