Salesman lied to me
He said engine is 5afe and had standard ring
5afe 79 mm bore
You can repair it and make it 4afe with 81 mm bore.
I want buy another European 4afe in good condition.
I Wait for seller to find new one.

my friend recently swapped ce100(diesel variant) with 4afe...it's the most easy swap like plug and play.

Ecu has 3 plug
2 of them comes from engine harnes-->26 pin and 16 pin.
one frome dashboardharnes 12pin
I bought only engine harness,
And want to wire 12 pin by myself
One of wire in this plug must go to cluster for vss
But I don't change my oldercluster(carbi cluster)
I want to know where is going this wire by detail
I have diagrams
Anyone can help me with this problem?

Sir follow the lines. There would be one wire which goes in the vss other wire will be earthed. If you still don't understand open the cluster further.

What transmission are you using (auto or manual)? Im also interested in swapping my ee100's 2e to 4AFE/5AFE/7AFE. Can you please send pictures of belt side/ cam side mount? As EE type chassis have different cam side mounting position as compared to AE type, so A series engines do require slight modification wrt cam side mount in EE chassis.

They don't need any modification? Have you seen someone doing such?

There is a little difference in AE series chassis and EE series chassis camside mounting position. I have seen people using iron plates to accommodate that gap but its not the correct procedure imo. mount bolt holes are at different points. So i want to be sure about correct mount location.

My firend's ae100 is throwing small drops of fuel if we putt hand on the silencer while engine on runningand it smells like petrol. What is the probable cause? How to fix?

Are you sure its petrol and not water? Does it accompany black smoke too? It could be as simple as dirty air filter else faulty fuel injector/ pressure regulator. Does the car run on CNG too?

Sir , its fuel as it smells like fuel and smoke also deposits on hand making skin blackish. The cng is installed but not used for long time now

Firstly check the air filter. then proceed with fuel pressure regulator and then Injectors inspection. A stuck open fuel pressure regulator can cause this behavior or could be faulty injectors too.

Hi my brother
I am from iran
In Iran car are lhd but in Pakistan are rhd
For lhd only thing you need is right hand mount (pulley side) and only work is drilling Chasi
For rhs cars I don't know exactly but I think you can supply that mount from right hand drive AE101 or AE102 Corolla or make it yourself

Where the fuel regulator is installed in 5afe? Moreover, the engine vibration is observed in whole body. What are the possible causes?

Chassis isn't different, only pulley side mount is different
