how to do it?

1:car should be started and then I had to short them?
2: but the car in ignition mode(step 2) then short?
or
3: or short them then put turn on ignition?

Code 24 = air intake temperature sensor.

if you ecu is wired up without a constant power line and are missing the IAT sensor or its wiring is duff - it will not work correct. Do the test with engine running - then read the codes. If you get a STA code - your ignition switch start signal is also missing to the ECU.

That is why it is always emphasized to sort out the WHOLE wiring when the engine is sitting on the ground - so you just connect basic wiring when its installed.

Noticeable Black Smoke Is Due To Quiet messed Up Wiring....! Wrong Map Sensor/TPS wiring....or bad sensor/undajusted TPS

sir as you can notice in the pic of 1st post im using cone air intake directly on throttle body there is no Oxygen temperature sensor.. what effects will it make?
rough idle, bad fuelling or what?
and what does STA signals tells ecu to do?

sir O2 sensor is present and in working order..

i'll get the codes with engine running..

and the run like champ,but sometimes rpms start fluctuating on idel, like up,down up, down.......and that black smoke problem

there is some sensor type thing its a two piont sensor...bolted in intake manifold...is this IAT sensor?

and this is the condition of plugs...i think they are dead...:S

bro i want to know whats the location of IAT sensor in 5AFE...is it placed in filter box like honda civic 05 or in the intake manifold?

You definitely need to replace plugs, thats for sure, but do it after wiring problems are sorted out.

Can you tell more about location of the two-point sensor? It could be the engine coolant temperature sensor. Having it disconnected is a disaster. Your engine wont know when the engine is warm so it'll keep overfueling thinking the engine is cold.
