boy IVECO is just a 4x4 truck with no extra ordinary offroad capabilities in comparison with Unimog i guess Sam rightly said ghatta hai. yes it is a comfortable ride... do get your hands on it only if you find the clean piece with lesser resto to carry on....

i have not seen a single IVECO in civil or a project thereto.... they all are cut after auction.

I have recently bought unimog 421, Long wheel base, 2.4L deisel, model 1984, an army auctioned vehicle. Restoration of this rig is already on and Inshaallah it will be off road with all its capabilities by the end of December. My Mog was in fairly good condition in all aspects but still you know its auctioned vehicle so have to go through the massive operation. I will look forward to valuable suggestion from all IJC members pertaining to egine overhaul, suspension system (shocks), electric work, paint job etc. thx

@sam.... boy different rate for different variants and condition.... currently in lahore there is none available and in pindi i saw one in very very bad shape and the kabaria asking 230k for Unimog topless....

i heard in karachi Unimog lot was cut into scrap in early 2010... let me know if find a good peice there... a friend interested in Punga Project
