Gone are the days when people only imagined to drive electric vehicles. They have become a reality and one that is making them appear in reality is Tesla—one of the companies that are trying to make an electric vehicle to curb emission from the atmosphere. This time also, the electric-vehicle making giant Tesla has stunned as it has unveiled two new electric vehicles, one is an all-new electric truck (prototype), and the other is a sporty car named as Roadster.

The company is planning to ship the truck dubbed as Tesla Semi production in 2019. The truck was unveiled by Elon Musk himself by driving it through the crowd and potential buyers. Elon described the move of making a heavy-duty electric truck to give an option to buyers to switch from vehicles powered by fossil fuel to electric vehicles aimed at cleaning the environment.
According to the data revealed the truck could go up to 500 miles (800 Km) when loaded fully at its maximum speed. While comparing its truck with a diesel truck, Elon said that diesel truck is 20 percent more expensive per mile than the electric truck. However, it is to be noted here that diesel truck can travel up to 1,000 miles on a single tank fuel. It would be amazing to see how Tesla sells its trucks in the market. What strategy will they use? We can only wait and see.
The truck can go to 0-60 mph in just five seconds without any luggage and load, while if the truck is loaded at its maximum capacity( according to the US allowed weigh in highway), the truck can get to 60 mph in 20 seconds. Amazing isn’t it.
The truck houses Tesla’s semi-autonomous driving system—a system which will help the vehicle to keep in the lane and go to one freeway from another without any human involvement. The company has not yet revealed the price of this Tesla truck. Moreover, the truck is equipped with four motors, one for each rear wheel. And inside the driver’ cockpit, there is a steering and two touchscreen panels.
