It is a very vast meadow which is still bearing the load of snow.

Wow! Didn't know caterpillar have launched plastic shoes for glaciers. Must be an expensive item
Rashid Bhai...The area in the pic is around Shahdra which is on the way from Kohala bridge to Muzafferabad....River Jehlum and Kohala-Muzafferabad road is just below these settlements....Were you able to spot the river and the road at any time during the trek ??
