These UPS typically supply low charging current (typical 4A and upto 10A) as they are deployed in scenarios where there is usually Genset Backup aswell, and also power outages are not as common as we face here.

The charger will simply be connected in parallel to the UPS connections to the battery.

I have an external charger but I am hesitant to connect both charger and UPS to the battery, could this cause the UPS or the charger to malfunction, since both are trying to charge the batteries at the same time. Secondly, I am unsure what effect will the charger have on the UPS and vice versa considering that fact that both are automatic chargers. I would appreciate if you can shed some light on this.

A simple test for UPS is power factor, it is 0.6 for modified sine wave and 0.8 for sin wave
if UPS is 1 kva and output is 600-660 Watts then it is modified sine wave and
if UPS is 1 kva and output is 800 Watts then it is sine wave

No match with local ore Chinese UPS's its a class apart and much more reliable.....
I am using the same for more then 5 years now, never needed a repair or anything.....

i know a guy named sarfraz from faisalabad.he has a complete solution of the solar as well as the led lights as they are the importers of the solar of the german company named BLD Solar solutions and also importing the LED Lights under the brand name of PRIME that i have personnaly installed in my house and also visited his many of the projects and he is very good and loyal to his job.

There is no duty on Solar products but consult your clearing agent before import. It can be import in separate container and can separate bill of entry and from different location or manufacturer.

you have to first need the clearance certificate from alternate energy board of pakistan for duty free import of the solar....but these duties only wieve off from he PV plates but not from the controllers and the batteries. if you cheat the custom agents and acidnetly you container is under inspection setup you have to pay heavy fines so in future no one even think of cheating the custom agents and also these clearing agents at custom ports have a setting innerly with the ofice persons and also dodge you once to fill their pockets
