What do you think of Osaka Battery. I saw some in the Metro the other day for 15K i think ...

Imo its vood to get a battery with greater capacity than you require, the probability of it getting deep discharged will be reduced and hence it will last longer

I have bought 200 AMP AGS for 16k yestarday at Lahore so my recomendation is leave osaka as AGS is much better and the difference is 1k only

Hall Road Lahore is full of UPS dear.........you can get any type of UPS from there.....

I was just wondering how can we test a UPS/Generator output to see if its a pure sine wave or not?
I dont think anybody has an oscilloscope at home, so is there a shortcut method?

On UPS it is usually printed on body.........Pure sine wave ups are usually imported and SMD technology is used in them....... they are expensive than ordinary ups

As per my experience.......AGS battery is best than all other brands........osaka, volta, excied, fb and phoenix......it has more amperes than other brands of same power

Coz I havent searched the market and went late when most of the market was close

you have to get pair of 200 amp ags batteries for this load and back up time

AGS 200 have 27 Plates/Cell while osaka volta 240 have 27 plates/cell and phoenix 220 have 27p/cell

I have got 5kva Solar system in my home with two 150Ah deep cycle lead crystal batteries...with monocrystalline 24panel (100Watts each).
Proper system installed in May2013.

Dear i will advise you to use 1600 AH battery bank (Even normal Lead acid battery,so that they may be alive till 2-3 year). Even these deep cycle battery will go dead in a year or an extra half with your setup and load ratio.

PV=Continuous load (or at min night load)
Battery=Inverter rating-PV {or Min 10% if PV Watt=Inverter Watt(0.8*VA)}
Ideally PV W= Batterys AH= inverter VA (W/0.8) assuming( continous and night load=Rated/2) for a good stable system

Its almost a 2 canal house with most area covered.just got a gas connection few days back.
Before that electricity bill was high due to electric geasers which wr on wapda
Bills shld b alrite now onwards
