Installed 2600 watt with infini 3kwplus (48v 180amp Flooded battries)

I have been running 3 fan, 32inch LCD TV, 3 to 4 energy savers, 2 fridge and red water pump all at the same time
The electricity produced today is 10.45kw from morning till 6:13pm
Washing machine, iron microwave oven easily running with load managment
Battery only charges when solar available
all appliences (execpt fans, lights and TV) shifts to wapda after 5:30pm

My appollo ups used to gave 8 to 10 hours of backup on ags 200 battery with one Wi-Fi router 4 savers and a fan but now loadsheding has been increased plus the volts have also been decreased from wapda
I have noticed its only 160 to 180v comming out of 220
And ups is also unable to charge battery in 3 to 4 hours like it did before
What are the causes of low battery charging and backup

The low battery charging variables of ur ups has been compromised. .. get it checked by ur vendor ... check the charging dc current on ac mode .... ur load is ok ... so the culprit is the ups. ...

Dear ups charger cant simply upgraded thro power chute ... u need to change the hard ware plus battery constants needs to be calibrate. .. so yes power chute dus talks with the ups but in sum extent ...

Bro i did some research online and found out that the values can be changed (For cut off , Charging etc)
The charging capacity will remain same but it will cut off later , so , this way the batteries would be charged more
PS : It also does support bigger batteries for extended backup and batteries need calibration for that purpose.

according to my calculation you will have to add 3 to 4 more 260watt panels to run the inverter type air conditioner
You will have to make it to 3380watt (2600w + 260+260+260) to 3640watt (2600w + 260+260+260+260)
and the total cost will go up to Rs. 5,20,000

Inverter A/C consumes 1800W at very max which decreases slowly to 400-600w as the desired temp is reached(1.5 Ton Inverter A/C)
It can run on 2600W system

Canadian solar is same as other china solar panels available. There are many better quality and cost options available then Canadian solar.
Best of all if you have some extra space you may go for Sharp Japan Thin film technology. Otherwise Renesola, Shinghai, Yangli are market leaders in Mono panels.

Agreed. The price is unusually high and it is actually made in China too. And people just go mad after Canadian Solar. Really wonder why?

Beyond my understanding. Agree with you 100%. And yes the people should inspect the material themselves. Otherwise most x y z panels are nothing but same.

Why ? Its just a connector switch which is insulated properly.

i am sellin apc since 1998 ... so i don hv to search online anything abut apc but neways u shud do more research on apc ....

I have planned to purchase UPS with following load.

3 fans
5 Energy Savers
1 Internet Router (I also need to know if it is safe for internet router to be run on UPS)

I am not a technical person in this area and I have not much information about it. So I request to explain everything as you are explaining to a layman.

1. First of all, I have heard two things. One of my friends has used Homage UPS and his experience was worse and he advised me not to go for Homage UPS. But our electrician who is very experienced and honest person has suggested to purchase Homage UPS.
   Now I am not sure which one and why should I purchase.

2. Secondly, I am still unsure even after reading many posts that which battery is the most suitable and why. Some of my friends have used Exide and AGS batteries and are satisfied but couple of days back a person was telling me he is now going to purchase Phoenix because Exide battery was finished within 10 months of purchase.
   I am not going to purchase dry batteries.

3. It is always advised not to charge mobile phones on UPS. What is the reason behind this and is there any way to make it safer to charge mobile phones on UPS by using any additional equipment. Does similar advise goes for Laptop Charging? I may not charge my laptop on UPS?

Dear first ov all let me clear u that there r two types of ups available every where in world ... one is sine wave and other is pure sinewave ... sine wave are local made ups and Chinese one like homage etc .... draw back of sine wave ups is that thy produce humming sound in fans and cuz of them electronic items life decreases .... good thing about them is that thy r cheap in price .... other ups is pure sine wave. . Thy give u pure Output. I am dealing in apc brand ups .... thy produce pure sine wave. .. output voltages are fixed 220 volts ... no humming sound from fans. .. u can run ur laptop ... any charger ... fans ... lights. .. tv .... etc etc ... it works with two batteries .... its charger is automatic .... when battery is fully charges it cuts off the voltages ... built in stabilizer and transformer ... ur battery life ll be doubled with pure sine wave ups cuz the ups ll not deep discharged the batteries .... when it sense that batteries voltages hv come to its critical mode then it automatic shuts down itself .... as electricians are mostly engaged in installing people's home wirings and fans so thy dont no well about ups technologies. ... and for batteries yes AGS battery is best in town ... most of my client's are using this brand only ...
now for price i have sent you a personal message here in pak wheels ...

That looks like a barrier terminal block. Although it comes with a cover, it is not meant to be installed in the open.
