DAY 2 Reaching Surgan Village and camping (khatmal Night)
So we departed from Sharda in time so we can enjoy the ride to surgan village.. its a beautiful track .. the road is now getting paved here and proper concrete barriers are bing made on sides...
the place has all the serenity which we city people are looking for ...
When reached surgan the locals were very charming, welcomming, curious, and talkive and would want to talk and ask questions and tell us stories...
as soon as we stopped inside the village the people were just all standing and wandering around in case if we need any thing or want to ask any thing..
We inquired if its ok to camp around them they said the place is all tilted and we wont be able to find good paved place unless we go down inside the stream basin and camp on sand..
instead they offered us vacant room in one of the houses infact two rooms for us to spend night.. and the rent was 200Rupees only... yes 200 you heard it right..
The house was on its ground floor a kind of a aftrnoon. chai wala hotel for locals and workers who were paving road.. he made a excellent Dinner for us and got our rides parked...
one of the locals indicated that as they are making dinner for us.. there is still time and we can go down to the stream and enjoy a must visit place they indicated so we went there after unloading bikes in rooms.. it was worth going there .. we stayed there untill maghrib and by the time we returned the food was ready..
we had the dinner and planned to sleep while chit chating we noticed that the night was a full moon night and it was looking amazing unfortunetly we did not had good cams but we tried our luck with cell fones (failed badly) lol
as soon as we laid down on the sleeping matteress we noticed there was some thing fishy.... I got bit on my back then on nect then on tummy.... and my instincts told me.. there are oissu/khatmal in the room... I remember from my kinder age when we used to live in murree ( as we belonged to there) the wooden house if not hygenic get infested by this pest.. and yes there were khatmals all over the room...
I went tot he bike got the mospel and did a "FULL ASHNAN" bath with mospel so avoid get bitten by khatmal wwhile sleeping...
phir sakoon say akar late gya bari achi neend ayee..
When I woke up in the morning I noticed all the riders with red eyes and full time "awazaar" faces...
I said what ahappened they said we were not able to sleep whole night due to Khatmals all over they place...
I said yes its jungle we are prepared for it.. did you guys not used mospel? and every body was having the biggest face palm of the day.. as they all had mospel and no body used it ...
any ways hun ki fiada.. we started to pack up for the big climb today!!
