We left jhalkad timely, bad had to refuel, this was the second time I used "Open" feul (Grave Mistake) as there was no other option..
I refueled from "khula petrol" at sharda as well... I did not knew that this khula petrol is mostly "do number" and had solvents mixed up to inxrease the quantity... any ways.. I paid the hard way..
we reach lulusar in a blink of an eye as now th road is more like Ismabad Murree express way..
we even did not bothered to stop by the lake.. as its 3 years in the row we are crossing it..
We reached babusar very very quickly...
In the very last few turns of babusar the DR250 and XR250 started to breath really really heavily and there speed reduce badly.... I knew that carby bikes are highly prone to low oxygen High altitudes and I was already looking forward to put RX on the test to see how it performs..
So I reved the Hell out of rX3 to see what top speed it gives me.. I was able to cruise above 72kmh on lowest oxygen levels at 14,000 feet of Alititude... It reminds me last year @akber3 was with us and he was on its 400cc adventure bike which was able to cruise at 75kmh... so i was pretty close...
I saw on the last ridge a YBR 125 heavily breathing and a guy litterly paddling each breath ... the YBR was about to die so I slowed downa and offerred him a puch.. he himself was heavily breathing due to paddling.... but then I noticed he was trying to rev it .. I asked him not to rev it and let it go slow under those RPMs where it is comfortable.. he followed and YBR started to slowly gain power...
This is the biggest mistake bikers do on high alititudes.. never rev bike above what it cannot do in given oxygen level.. or it will over heat and become worse..
we met another FSD + Lahore Riders Group at Babusar and had a good Gupshup with them for some while then we left for thailachi camp site just ahead of riakot bridge so in the morning we can go to rama.
