Efi carborator?? Efi is different technology i think than carborator. n ryt now im facing a low mileage plus sudden jerk issue when suddenly pressing race.

Sudden jerk 1000 se 2000 rpm pe hota like race chor kr dobara achanak race press krne se gaari hitchki si leti hai.

Ji bhai wo bhi EFI hi kehlata ha..
That is actually a ECM controlled TBI (throttle body injection). Uss me aik single injector hota ha throttle body me jo fuel deliver karta ha.

I don't remember the number of all jets but primary is 90 in Cultus and secondary is 110.
The jerk problem that you are mentioning could be due to a accelerator pump (can't remember it's correct name ATM) That sprays fuel in Carburetor throat when accelerator is pressed and helps eliminate any lag or jerk.. In your case either the jet on that orifice is smaller than stock or the diaphragm for that pump is shot.

Aoa Sir , I want to discuss an issue with you dear cultus fans and experts , I just bought cultus 2002 last year for 480000 (4 lakh 80 Thousands). Why so costly , because i was new to car buying and was cheated by some person i really trust , anyway it was my fault . car worth is in market now is not more than 4 lakh to 4200000.

I love cultus and i want to drive it as i dreamed that my first car will be cultus always . Now i am facing many problems in engine , AC and overall .

The big issue is Carburetor i. I have wasted 5000 rupees on cleaning and repairing but still milage is extremely low , in city with AC it is 7 to 8 km/ liter with jerks in drive . and long drive 9 to 10 km/ liter . Mechanic said that its engine is dead ( Farig ho gaya ha bahi sab, because of running on CNG ) and need to be redone .I almost invested 50 thousand on lights upgradation and othe body work and repairs.

I need suggestion from you based on your experience , should i put more money on this engine ? i want to get milage better on petrol like EFI engine .

what options i have , Engine repair or Engine swap or engine swap with automatic 660 Japanese engine ????

Kindly guide me about possible options and their cost ....I am very hopeful that your guidance will help me alot . Thanks

Bhai you should have researched about cars here in pakistan before taking any decisions... Car condition defines its value old cultuses are in very bad condition in the markets
I have cultus 2001 which my father bought from company and we have NEVER used CNG in car as it destroys your whole car in the long term, my carburator is still company fitted giving me 280kms in 21 litres petrol about 13.3 avg with AC 50%used within city in islamabad.. About 16 to 17 on motorway@100kmph. Its engine was overhauled twice but this year engine needed overhaul after 5 years this time i have bought kabuli assembly 42k and rest gear carburator wiring etc were the same, its working excellent ALHAMDULILAH
As your car has been driven on cng it can never give good mileage as petrol driven cultus as settings are for cng mileage and even after setting it for petrol the carburator becomes weak after using CNG from 2002.
As your engine is also weak and it needs overhaul better is to go for a G10B G13, or carburator cultus assembly and carburator from an EXPERT MECHANIC AND ELECTRICIAN other wise a new chapter will open for you. Second option is sale the car even at around 420 add add 2.5 lacs more get an efi 2009 2010 model cultus(better ac, mileage, engine etc but be sure its not cng driven if you want to drive on petrol only)
I can refer you workshop for swap in islamabad only from where i have done my work
Efi cultis which are cng driven in lahore are also giving 10 to 11 with ac so mileage depends on other factors as well.
Regarding engine repair you can get it fully overhauled and change the carburator or get it checked from an expert carburator wala for tuning.
660cc engine are too underpowered for cultus body you will have to press pedal more which will reduce mileage so dont think about it.
Regarding ac please explain your every problem in detail. What have you spent 50k on​?
Which city are you from? Where do you drive mostly? Is your car temperature needle coming to middle when driven for 5 minutes which is besides speedo meter?
As your car is 2002 alot of changes might be done including carburator might have been swapped. Jerks can be caused due to number of issues. So kindly explain each of your issue in detail how car is responding etc.

Thanks alot For your kind suggestions and guide . i am living in Lahore recently moved from Dist.Narowal , and i spent almost 5 thousand on carburetor repairs . Other spending are on New model head and back lights , poshash , door ghatas ,radiator , AC repair , 3 times AC gas leakage , still compressor is to be changed , life time token i paid 2 months ago and computerized number plates and battery.

If u can come to Lahore cantt walton road area easily then I will recommend u a good mechanic.
He is best in Suzukis. One of our member here recently overhauled his cultus carb from him and he is very much satisfied from his work.

Bhai as you are in lahore get your carburator checked from where @RehanBhatti has mentioned. Overhauling depends on condition of your engine. Which can be checked by compression test note the reading of the test and post it here then seniors will guide you for overhauling process mostly around 40k for full overhauling of your engine. Regarding ac kabuli is worst thing you may go for i have personal experience with it. You should go for new compressor always. I am also using kabuli compressor pathan give warranty of 6 months but i have changed 3 times compressor within warranty the one im using right now is working good (after so much khawari and time wastage) but dont know when it may leak under load. So return that compressor back and go for new compressor but in the next season as season will be over after a month.
For now
Get your carburator checked asap
Rehan bhai also give him contact from where he can get compression test, good and resonable mechanic for overhaul work in lahore.
