if you use 185/70/R14 there is no need of spacer.

Rightly said, Ground Clearance issue might be resolved, however, 185/70/R14 tires may touch wheel arches / sleeves, especially during maneuvering (front tires), with 4-5 adult persons are on board, etc., and to cope for that, packing may be reqd.

I have always opposed use of spacer springs, coils, packing, etc. (and "On-the-Record", will always), however, it seems that now, if I go for 185/70/R14 or 185/65/R15, etc. I might also have to install 0.5" packing or shift to hard, desi springs, otherwise, tires may touch wheel arches / sleeves, during maneuvering, or under loading conditions, etc.

I have seen an increase in the fuel avg, almost 1-1.5km/Ltr; After i switched to LiquiMoly 5w-30 and started mixing 1000Rs HOBC. Cars acceleration response has improved as well. I hope it improves further
I blv it can further go up after cvt is refreshed and injector cleaners are cleaned.

I wd suggest not to change the orginal springs. Original spring ka maza alag hai sir.
We have a guy here in the thread who travelled to Kohat, he is using 15" rims. You may ask for his reviews.

That's Great! And Yes, after change of CVTF, performance of ride may become more better, but regarding cleaning of Injectors, I won't suggest, unless / until, its absolutely necessary.

I wd suggest you to bring an end to your surveys now and go for 185/65/R14. They are perfect and best possible match to stock tyres. (CLOSE to OEM specs).
The ride is behaving like in stock tyres.

Bro now I believe that TP and Tire size go hand in hand, and 33-35 psi in 165/70/R14 (stock tire size in 1.0F Vitz) Vs. 195/60/R15 make a huge difference.

You may start increasing TP from 30 psi. A point will come, when you will find balance between ride comfort and fuel efficiency. When you will cross that limit, ride comfort will be gone and you will feel your ride highly uncomfortable, bumpy, you will feel even slight jerks, etc.

Just note that TP, and stick with it.

Do you also own 1.0F 2015 model Vitz?

1. How is your experience with 195/60/R15?
2. Aren't they quite wide?
3. Are you using any packing, coils / springs, etc.?
4. And do they not touch the wheel arches / sleeves, especially during maneuvering, and passengers on board?
5. Which rims are you using and what's their width?
6. How is the ground clearance?

OEM recommend TP for vitz are 36/34 Psi

But its for 165/70/R14

34Psi n getting a fairly good fuel avg with stock tyres

If u r using hard tyres than higher TP will make the ride bumpy, and for softer tyres u can pump in more TP. This is what i ve noticed in my ride.

Just an Update regarding Owners / Users manuals for used JDM Toyota Vitz

I just opened the link today: https://toyota.jp/ownersmanual/vitz/ and was surprised to see that they have placed owners / users manuals for previous model years / generations of Vitz too (previously, only latest applicable manuals for the latest models were there).

As of today, manuals for Toyota Vitz model years August, 2007 (and onwards), December, 2010 (and onwards), April, 2014 (and onwards) and January, 2017 (and onwards), are available, i.e. starting 2nd generation, 3rd generation, 3rd generation face-lift and 3rd generation 2017 face-lift, are available.

Although they are in Japanese language, but still worth downloading and reading to get some understanding (at least figures can prove helpful, if not the text, just like I shared pic showing right TP in right tire sizes). If interested, please rush to the source link, and download, before they get removed.

(Similarly, owners / users manuals for some of the previous models of Passo, Aqua, etc. are available too. Please check https://toyota.jp/ownersmanual/ and find the applicable manual (if available) for your ride, if interested).

Yes coz of the odd sound spacers produce on bumps.
I was experiencing this. But once i changed them to smaller size, noise has gone.

I saw one of the 2015 model vitz.
I checked the car, it was a nice clean n neat car.
Discussed different maintenance aspects n etc. I was surprised to know he is getting 19-20 Avg in the city. I even checked it as i dint blv in first place.
His car was driven around 70,000 kms, and service totally from Toyota centre.
Engine sound was pretty nice as well.
But one thing i noticed he was using stock tyres, and no sort of spacers/packing etc.

That's wonderful , and as I have mentioned in some of my posts above (along with pics), MA SHA ALLAH I am also getting a similar fuel efficiency within twin cities, most of the times, even more than 20 kmpl.
