Shop which I will recommend for installing Android Head Unit (Based on my experience)
So respected members, as mentioned in my above post, I also installed Android Head Unit this Sunday. Actually, if you look at the pics in the very beginning of this thread, my ride did not come with any head unit from Japan. Just a casing was there for closing it. I had long been planning to install it, but just matured it this weekend, on Sunday.
I only had 03 basic requirements; FM Radio, USB and Aux Cable, other things can be additional but not my requirements (then my ride had default, built-in rear view camera, MA SHA ALLAH, so 7" screen became a must, otherwise, a simple tape would have been more than enough for me to serve the purpose).
When I was installing tinted paper, I just randomly asked from the shopkeeper, regarding head units available with him at his shop, and told him my requirements. He said that he has 03 qualities:
- Basic one will cost Rs. 6,500, but will be cheap looking, without any reasonable quality, and may be without grip to grip fitting.
- Better quality one will be around Rs. 10,000-10,500 somewhere, but it will also be basic, and may be without grip to grip fitting.
- Best quality one will be proper Android Head Unit, in fact Toyota Universal Android, with 1 GB RAM + 16 GB ROM, Android Version 7, reasonable quality, above all; grip-to-grip fitting. Of course, Navigation, GPS, Car speed at run time, Blue Tooth, WiFi, etc. are all supported (I am not sure about other 02, but this has 06 months warranty). Cost: Rs. 13,000.
All 03 were made in China, and price included installation charges as well (No hidden charges were there).
In the evening, I visited V7 traders on Adyala Road, Rawalpindi (details at: https://v7traders.com/ and https://v7traders.com/contact-us-android-navigation/ ), because I could not visit JDM Experts in Lahore (to me, they seemed comparable to JDM Experts, so thought of giving them a visit). They said that their products for Vitz 2015 model were out of stock, and expected arrival was within 3-4 days, however, price can be expected to be around ~20,000 PKR with 01 year official warranty. (Price may be OK and product can be good; no doubt, but since, my requirements were not that much, and then going for this much high money, I dropped the idea of buying head-unit from V7 Traders).
Then next day, early in the morning, on Sunday, I visited Kamran Market, Rawalpindi Saddar, just to get final idea about latest and current prices, and products available. Most of the shops were closed, and those who I visited, did not had it. I found the same in only one shop and that guy gave the same rate of Rs. 13,000, but it was without installation charges, I doubt. To my surprise, he said that the company; be it Delson, abc, etc. all have the same head unit, made by 4S company. However, when they come here from China and packed here; when company name (like Delson, etc.) attaches with that head-unit, price increases (Just because of the company name). Same thing, but in company packing, price higher by Rs. ~2,000 - 5,000, or may be even more.
Hardware is the same, even front, layout, layout of the buttons is also same, just difference in price due to company name or slight difference in software! When company name attaches, prices goes up. Just for reference, please look at the pics below and then compare with https://v7traders.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/Toyota-Vitz-2012-16-Navigation-V7-7-inch.jpg and https://v7traders.com/product/vitz-2012-16-android-navigation-lcd-panel/ @ Rs. 19,900, and without installation officially (the same hardware I bought for Rs. 13,000, with installation).
So, I decided to visit him in National Market, and have the head-unit installed from his shop. At least, his rate included installation charges (otherwise, the charges can be as Rs. 1,000 - 2,500), and he was right in saying that no one will give the total package of head-unit + its installation in Rs. 13,000, in the whole market.
I have used my head-unit for some time, and the sound quality is MA SHA ALLAH, Superb. There is no lagging or slowing down of the head-unit, and no issues faced till now.
Now without further ado, lets share the pics:

The guy is the shopkeeper, and also installed Android Head-Unit (I think, he is also the owner of the shop)
Installation works in progress...
Still in progress...
Partially completed and fitted
I did not let him 100% finish his job. He made all the connections; the panel was partially fitted, however, I requested him not to close everything, as I intended to bring my ride back to my home, clean the dashboard and other panels thoroughly via air blower, vacuum, and dashboard cleaner, from inside and outside, and then fit everything. I requested him to guide me, how to close it properly, and he happily guided, to which I am obliged to him (it may not be difficult at all, however, if the work is major or minor, usually shopkeepers do not tell their secrets to consumers).
Rear view camera connection took some time, as no direct connection port was there, however, the most difficult ones were the multimedia steering wheel connections. No direct connections were there. We had to rule out things one by one. It so happened that if 03 buttons worked, 04 didn't. If 04 worked, 03 didn't, etc. 07 buttons, and their full, proper working (all at once) baffled both of us, and it took us almost 2-3 hours to complete the whole job, from start, till partial fitting. However, at the end, job was successfully completed. AL HAM DU LILLAH.

And this concludes the discussion.
