although its a use less disscussion, but in my opinion, Civic VTI is much better car than a Corrolla VVti , but the considerignthe runnign cost involve in pakistan , i think Corolla 2.0D is the best car ever produced in pakistan.

it depends. both are good cars in their own positions. if your talking bout performance, definately its got to be the civic. its got a vtec injected engine.the corolla hasnt. the latest engine was never used before and its a completely new thing. however comparing the ride and interior, the corolla sands out more.

well bro....VTEC was first developed by honda among all japnese car mfgs...so honda seems to b a but sepciallised.....here:
1.6 VTi=128.8hp
1.6 Cororlla with DOHC n VVTi=120hp

even with DOHC corolla isnt able to compete....& DOHC was first introduced by Nissan in early 90s i think

2-3monthz back all v used to do is race civix n rollaz....stock.....soop`d up....automatic tranzz...manual tranzz...wuteva u do....the winner is....CIVIC!!
Civix handlin is the best....the worst thing bout corolla is the BRAKES!! n with stock tyres DAMN!! NOTE: PLS USE THE GEAR TO SLOW DOWN lol civic alot better in every way sexy, sporty, elegant....! No offence to corolla fans but its a shit car (technically)...!

man it doesnt depend upon civic or corolla. it depends all on u. i have a toyota starlet 1985. i have putted a 1300 c carburated engine of 96 corolla. Now u wont believe that 95 civic with out vtec cant go with me. Inshallah i will be coverting it 1600cc efi this month. then lets see wat happens next!!!

CIVIC! corrolla has had bad suspensions,brakes and heavyness complaints on the other hand civic is sexy,performs like a cheetah,and is comfortable. civic is the best! corrolla is gud but not gud enough

Indeed a very boring topic since so much has been shared already about Civic and Corrolla. Lemme narrative my friend's experience, he bought the lousy corrolla paid Rs. 175,000 additional / own and brought the junk home. The car wont stop cause due to its lousy braking system so he ended up spending another 180,000 between ABS brakes, low profile tires and alloy rims for thr damn thing to stop when needed. And yeah the interior may look different / 2 tone but very difficult to maintain, and lets admit the drive aint comfortable at all !!! and finally too big a shell for a 1.3, Moral of the story always wear clean underwear even if you go to the nearby grocerry store for ciggarates for you may slip and end up in the hospital.
No I am not drunk just tired of these comparisons dude buy what you wanna buy and wash your hands

I happen to have both,the new corolla and civic.both of them are petrol and stock.they don`t compare at all.the corolla is worthless.civic is a whole lot better.corolla has a very annoying gear shift,bad road handling,uncomfortable seats and cheap plastic.get rid of all this glitches and you might end up with a car worth comparing to civic.

u stupid heads... who ass says that corolla has poor braking and lesser road grip. It has much better braking and road control even in the absence of ABS. And comfort.. civic's comfort can be compared with city,baleno,etc but for corolla u may think of mercedes. u pathetic honda guys..

corolla has the best grip. no doubts. it is heavy and u can feel the difference on the sharp turns. civic cannot handle the challenge.
