Time has come to Educate Pakistanis about using only Dry/Maintenance free Batteries

After long expereince & visiting several countries, i come to conclusion taht even in Pakistan, we have to educate people & remove misconcepts about Dry /Maintenance free Batteries

1. from surveys& research experiences, 99.9 % - 100% of cars in Europe r using Dry /Maintenance free Batteries

2.in middle east/gulf 95% cars r using Dry /Maintenance free Batteries,

3.in far east countries 99% cars r using Dry /Maintenance free Batteries,

1. in india, 70% cars r using Dry /Maintenance free Batteries,

5.in Pakistan 15% cars r using Dry /Maintenance free Batteries,

Please i am not against business of acid batteries but it is a burden on economy too as cost of production of acids & raw material

also you know illiteracy in our country, due to these batteries, people hav to store acids in drums, BAD PEOPLE YOU KNOW MOSTLY SAD/MAD LOVERS USED TO THROW ACIDS ON WOMAN,(u know pakistan is 1st country where most of acid burns cases happen)

IT ALSO HELPS IN PREVENTING ENGINE BAY FROM CORRISION BCOZ ACIDE BATTERIES EMULATE GASES CAUSES CORRIOSION IN ENGINE PARTS

so in order to stop all these & be educated & STOP USING ACIDE BATTERIES, USE ONLY Dry /Maintenance free Batteries,

Please give the source of your %age data about use of dry batteries. And production of acid is not only for batteries alone! There are tons of other, more important uses of acid!
Use of acid for criminal purpose should not be taken as something bad on part of acid itself!!
What would you say about kerosene oil (k2 aka matti ka tayl)? How many ladies are burnt because of that in villages!!!?
Otherwise, it is a good idea. Someone should give us a more appealing logic please!

I am apprehensive about data for Pakistan ... I seriously doubt that so many vehicles are using maintenance free batteries ...

Criminal use of acid is up to the person ... for example, a knife is the most important tool in the kitchen , but you can see, some people use it for crimes as well

I am using Maintenance free Batteries in my cars and they are preety awesome. Since the last purchase of Maintenance free Battery for my Mehran i have never faced any issues in starting during winter on CNG. Its life is around 2 years and works better then acid batterries.

I purchase 1 from Ali Batterries in Faisal Town Main road. The brand name is Volta and they say its imported but GOD knows better if they call Karachi as (Japan) But the battery is working great. The 1 i purchased is 40AMp and costed me 3400. He purchased the old battery in 1800 and the rest 1600 i paid in cash...

I was thinking about introducing a thread on maintenance free batteries.

Right now I have stock battery in my GLi 2010 ... No issues so far as the battery is doing great.

Now I intend to go for a major upgrade in the audio system. Considering the power of the system, our PW experts are suggesting installation of an additional battery in the trunk ... Since my car is a family car, I want to keep the clutter in the trunk as less as possible.

I dont want to change the alternator .. the car is under warranty and I don't want to tamper with that.

Preferably, I dont want a battery in the trunk.

Installation of capacitor would not serve any purpose.

So my intention is focused on getting a high powered maintenance battery to replace the stock battery. Internet information mentions Kinetik as the best brand ..

is it possible to find this brand in Pakistan?

If so, then what amperage should I look for in the new battery?

Brother in USA every 6 second a rape happen so we have to educate them stop rape or cut the p..... of every male
In india hindu are drinking cow urine so we have to educate them dont drink other wise (we have very big export market)
In arab countries they destroy good cars so some body educate them please send them here we can use them until the end of time;)

dry/maintenance batteries is still new in Pakistan.....only one local company Volta make dry/maintenace batteries n the rest of them available here r imported which is lil expensive than local one.....i ve tried Volta dry/maintenance free in civic hatch n never had prob....using hankook dry/maintenance free in markx.....we got home car toyota belta also came with AC delco dry/maintenance free...still running fine so far....most of the imported cars r coming with dry/maintenance free battery....only disadvantage of these batteries r non-rechargeable tht wat i heard

Brother there was I time I was importing optima batteries for Pakistan but sadly most of the people here are not potential buyers and educating them was a very difficult job.

Most of the people drive low budget cars such as altos civics and corollas etc. And the cost of optima batteries are way higher than the exide and other batteries available locally.

We were providing 9000 starts / 5 year warranty on the product. But the problem is people don't think about long terms they rather stick to something which is cheaper no matter what. I have been running optima in four of my land cruisers and my God it works. Excide is running it's monopoly here and I heard they sued hankook for no good reason and did their best to stop hankook for properly launching their maintenance free batteries which I think was good value for money

Bhai ... Could you tell me the amperage of the batteries that you imported?

I am looking for a high power battery with maximum size that could fit into Corolla's battery enclosure. I want to avoid installing a second battery to power the audio system in the car. A lot of options are available on the net, but I have not seen anything which could serve my purpose in Pakistan (well talking about Islamabad). Your guidance will be much appreciated

I have seen information on the net. Volta makes maintenance free batteries upto 70 amperes but their dimensions are too large for a normal car battery
