Well the jerks are random. Kabhi full throttle par zero kabhi 4K RPM par kabhi 2-3K RPM (mostly). Missing nahi Kar rahi gaari. It's only giving minor jerks

When you instantly press the throttle, the car takes a slight jerk and then picks up on idle? Or it takes throttle instantly without any hesitation?.
Pressing throttle means 1000-2000 kay bechmein. Not like flooring it to red line.

Throttle response seems to have slowed magar jerks kabhi deti Hai kabhi nahi. Mostly lower RPMs par deti hai

I think I know what you're talking about. Does your car lose power and suddenly regain it in the 2-3k rpm range?

I have the same issue and for me putting folded tissue paper in the air filter box clips seems to solve the problem. I came across this todka in this chat. Apparently by closing the air filter box tighter the issue is resolved.

Well it doesn't exactly lose power. It starts jerking.

But here the issue is different these are spark jerks.

seen it live a big missfire from engine often raptures air filter box

I had same issue in my Liana of patakhas. Culprit was bad plugs and air filter box very loose. Had to insert two deep nails (keels) to tightly seal the air filter box and never heard a patakha since 4 years now

Well i faced this on santro & replaced plug wires on it & that issue never came on it.

Yes I also suspect oil rings have gone bad.

Kindly suggest engine oil for baleno 05. Engine changed 1300cc

I use zic 20/40, I think its good as on 2000 km it don't get black nor thin like water...
