guys i just noticed in my car's engine room, something is bit different from other cars, one part is missing, i dont what is it, if you guys have any idea? i am attaching 2 pictures of 2 other baleno, missing part is highlighted, please guide...

I guess its advancer for cng.

what? so hows my car running on CNG as well?

that is advancer/ emulator for cng. u need to look closely for wires near cng kit, u may find a green rectangular box which is the same thing.

Yesterday my balenos radiator cap fell somewhere as it wasn't properly closed by the driver in the morning. So for few kms car ran without it and consequently car heated up. I put the new cap and took the car back home. I topped up the radiator in the morning and went to office. When in the afternoon I checked the radiator water was less almost a cup of water. Heat gauge is OK car isn't heating up and there's no oil and water mixing as of now. So what could be the reason of water reduction in radiator. Anyone plz. Thanks.

finger crossed...g13b is not that fragile.....how was it running? missing? loss of power? any issue in starting?

park the car on inclined surface...with engine on the higher side...then start the car and top up water...u can press upper hose pipe a couple of time to make it burppp... also observe if water is violently jumping out of radiator after heating up a bit...

replace the cap...use correct spec, check if it 0.9 bar or 1.1?

fill up the expansion valve till max point and observe it it reduces water...

exercise caution for above procedure and if u dont know wat u r doing then let someone else do it for you!!

There's absolutely no loss of power and no starting problem till this very moment. Radiator cap is of 1.1.bar as I got the radiator changed recently. Water isn't reducing in expansion valve. Although the rpm's have been a bit on the lower side since the car heated up last evening.

So just an update,. engine is oil is ok no smoke from silencer but radiator reduces half a cup of water and water level in expansion bottle has increased from its max point although its still not filled up to the brim in these 3 days. Cap is 1.1. It seems radiator is not sucking the water back although its a new one 2 months old. Should i change the cap to 0.9 bar would it make any difference. Thanks.

off course change the cap, also look for any leakages...coolant usually leaves marks behind...

also check for air leakage for the pipe going towards expansion bottle...
