Remove needle and then scratch off the yellow color under the needles. Then paint it red using a nail polish.

give it a few days, it will probably settle on its own. My cultus acts similar when i removed battery terminal

Hi bros. So there's been a persistent problem my car which was of smoke on a cold start. As advised by many of you this was a valve seal problem but this is the 3rd mechanic I have been and he along with others said this is a piston ring issue.

I have attached two video of 1 min. If anyone can have a look and please guide me. Once the smoke disappears in the morning after like 5-10 secs of a start and I press the accelerator I can still see smoke coming out. I've also been told that when I drive the car there's smoke coming out. I have attached a video of that too. In the case I was driving at 4+ rpm.

compression teat will reveal more...

1. plz try replacing valve seals without opening head...if problem remains go for rings change

Got the test done. I got the following reading 70-75-70-100.

If test is done right then its very low compression. You need an overhaul.
