Alright thanks. I will check it.
I just disconnected the battery and reconnected it. So far RPMs have become better. Let's c if this works or not. Just a question though, for cleaning iacv valve TB needs to be disconnected?
yes tb needs to be taken out for proper cleaning. however it is possible to clean it without taking it out but reaching there is a bit difficult
if u remove the air intake pipe from TB, u will notice a hole inside, u can spray carb cleaner generously in that and let it soak to dislodge carb particles, then u can use a drop to drop a few drops of atf in that hole to lubricate it....
AoaI have bought Baleno last month the problem i am facing is engine is burning oil and there is leakage from chamber too. its reducing oil 300ml/week roughly. did a compression test and the result was 160 from 1st 125 from Second 150 from third there was oil in there and 135 from forth.can you please guide either i should go for engine overhaul, assembly change or swapand any good mechanic who can do this job in twin cities

Aoa So after a long time I am facing minor jerks in the car that too at low speeds mostly in second gear. It feels like it misses for a second. No missing while idling even if you give full throttle and no missing at high speeds. Plugs are almost new tuning recently done. Car is being used on petrol CNG is disconnected. What could be the reason anyone plz. Thanks.
Anyone plz today it gave a slight jerk at around 80km speed.
plz try to clean the sensors, both crank and timing ones, hope ur issue shall be resolved
also test ur coils and wires, any current leakage? do they glow in dark?
Thank you i got the crank and map sensor cleaned but it still misses sometimes.i just felt that while coming back home but in 2nd gear only. I will get the coils checked now. But where is the timing sensor in baleno?
I got the plug cables checked and current was leaking from 1 cable. I got both the new cables genuine as per shop keeper. But it still missed once or twice in 5kms drive. Does that mean coil packs are shot too. I bought them almost year ago and they are genuine as well means kabuli. Plz let me know what should be done now. Thanks.@capsat@margallar @xenerking
try insulating the coil stems n check
your car have side coils with plug wires coming out and goint into tappet cover? or you have genuine liana type coil setup? your case is of current leakage as i have seen same in my cars. kabli coils even if genuine are used and can be faulty at time of you putting them in your vehicle so do not rule out possiblity of bad coils. try taping the coil towers. it could be a temporary fix. however never touch coil towers when car is start - electric shock is suicidal.
Yes I have the original set up of coil packs. And I bought the coil packs last year the kabuli ones. I just got back and felt that it just misses for a second specially in 2nd gear. What else can be used to insulate them other than tape. And thank you for advising not to touch the tower of the cables as I took the cables out to check if there's any spark leaking from them other than its adopter while engine was running.
did u clean the sensor on the timing side, lower, can be accessed from under the car?
No I got crank sensor and map sensor cleaned from electrician. Didn't know about timing sensor will ask mechanic to check if he knows about it.
before going for coil swap...get that cleaned, also verify injectors, clean them, check fuel pressure, above 70 psi is good, many mech have the dial guage,
I will get these checked. Thank you for your help.
im looking for a well maintained baleno, anyone selling plz let me know, thanks
