Just an update i applied tape on coil stems and now missing has almost vanished, except for a very rare jerk only in 2nd gear. earlier there was a jerk twice in 1 KM now its once in 10Kms. Didn't get the time to get other things checked. A quick question though, timing sensor and crank sensor are different or same as I doubt what mechanic said to me.

AOA dear members. I hope everyone is safe and sound in these difficult times.

So I was quite happy till yesterday as the minor jerks in the car vanished automatically. However, two days ago I got the petrol from a different petrol pump and it started giving jerks again specially in 2nd gear I wonder why in 2nd only. Then last night I got high octane just for an experiment and it improved a bit. I am actually running the car on NGK G power plugs for which the gap can't be adjusted. Coukd that be the reason should I change the plugs back to simple NGK. Also does changing the original coil pack set up to side cable system would help. Plz let me know. Thanks.

i think, gap can b adjusted for g power...try 1,1 mm

Can someone tell about the conditions of these spark plug? these are NGK BKR6E-GP (g power)

Are these in good shape?
why the outer part is black? is it oil ?

As per my understanding. Spark plug is not in good condition. Either car is running under low fuel condition or cylider is becoming hot.
Good spark plug with good fuel air ratio show redish color around tip.

They look ok to me speaking of colour and conditon of positive, Is the ground strap eroded badly?

How large is that gap?

These are single platinum plugs, good for 100,000 kms

Yes I also think to change the ground wire because one day I clean the connection of ground wires and at that day car runs very smoothly but after 2 days the smothness was gone..... So i think that Ground wire should be replace with New Ground wires. Whats your suggestion?

I had been facing the issue of little jerks but once I started using high octane the jerks vanished. I was facing this jerk problem on and off till this morning when I noticed that one cylinder wasnt working. I showed it to mechanic and according to him there was oil in one of the plugs. Is it because of weak engine as coil packs are also bad according to mechanic or the oil in plug could be because of back firing due to coil packs. There is absolutely no smoke or oil reduction till today. Oil being used is Shell 10W40 HX6 change interval 3500-4000kms. I just changed the plugs and now there are no jerks. Can anyone please guide. bro, i suspect the ignition coils, you can verify using MM also check wires...

Yes ignition coils are bad but I was just wondering if oil in plug could be due to the same reason. Cuz now car is perfectly ok. I will see if it starts jerking again then I will change the coil packs.
