anybody who knows the top speed of 2.0d saloon. with me it never crosses 165.

i wondor why do we even consider Toyota Corolla 2.0 D as a proper diesel car its engine is from the last century and an a technology which doesent even exsist in the modern world
165 Kph is somthing which i do in a blink in audi A4 1.9 Tdi 165Kph is like 100 miles per hr which is a JOke for a modern diesel engine

Have u ever driven a diesel engine with 169 BHP and 325 Nm torgues
lol i think if u drive a PROPER modern diesel engine youll hate Toyota Corolla 2.0 D just like i DO

i think Pakistan this crap so called as TOYOTA COROLLA 2.0 D is a disgrace for the whole nation a 66Kw Engine with a 85 Bhp engine
FOR GOD SAKe now a days donkies are faster than this
66KW is a thing of past now a days i hardly see engines with such a SLuggish performance

anyways if u want to know what diesel engine is suppose to perform like Drive an AUDI or BMW

wat ??? nver crosses 165 , have u gone mad ....!!! sir ji full 220 per jati hai aur speedometer ki needle takra tkra ker hilti hai according 2 my uncle s xperience and also my father took it to 180 !! my frnd took it to 190 so where r u ??? no civic , no altis can beat it on a highway i guarantee u , 100km/hr ke baad to urnay lagti hai , i have taken it to 130 in 4th gear and it was flying sir jeee !!!

well took this car up to 182km/h on going to motorway by a guy on orkut

he had the pic to and video....but it took him more then 15 mintes to reach that

Well definately yeah i am comparing a TOYOTA COROLLA 2.0 80BHP engine to AUdi A41.9Tdi 115BHP with 225 Nm torgues
cause guys are talking about diesel engines

I am a fan of diesel engines and have used every generation of diesel engine but its a very sad thing that Toyota indus provides still that same Stupud RAIL engine which is around from 1990

now a days new diesel engines they use an efficient method of burning diesel because diesel is a WAYYY more powerful Fuel than a petrol If diesel engine is properly made it can Smoke a petrol engine just like that and it can simply be proved

AUdi the subsidary of a VW group who also own Lambo , and EB Bugati , Seat , and they also Own SKODA they are like Gods of Diesel Industry and their Mian Luxury cars are all Diesel Engine V8 or a V6 with a turbo and forced spark plugs which burn diesel efficiently and generate absolute dreampower

toyota if their 2.0D gets a flop in market just cause if PEOPLE START RAFUSING THE CRAP THEY SUPPLY then they will introduce their Altis Engine which is Orignally designed for the body of Toyota and that is a 2.2 D4D and it has a turbo diesel and generates a staggering 400Nm torgue with 150 BHP and 110Kw engine

that is the engine which i have personally Seen in Toyota Auris and the reason that Toyota had to introduce that engine in Auris in UK is because of its Rivals and how people buy in UK
Auris has rivals like VW GOlf , Vauxhaull Astra , Audi A3 , Audi S3
why have they dont it because people dont accept a bad engine
Our whole nation should simply cut off this toyota corolla 2.0D so atleast toyota japan realises and supplies these NUTBRAINS with a proper D4D leatest Tech Diesel engine which is Powerful yet economical and really does 220KPH

as far as present engine of toyota is concerned the way it goes to 140Kph which is 80miles per hr i know that iv kept it too
for that the road has to be clear for atelast a ZILLION MILES and not even a crow should come so torgue doesent break i mean what the hell is this
u spend 10 lack rs so u can say u did 140 on a road going downhill and there wasant even a stone
guys when u do 140 or 160 lol thats not engine power

These cars all use diesel engines in them and trust me none of these cars have a torgue less than 270Nm which gives the diesel engine enough torgue to put a smile on ur face

for top speed of 2D, i went upto 160km once and my tympanic membranes just couldnt take it any more.

When we are buying a diesel car here bhai, all we have in mind is ECONOMY and DURABILITY , 2.0D has both, and for that Audi with late 80s / early 90s looks, no doubt about any Audi's performance, its a German car, but who is going to service it here and will someone provide parts for it, if someone does on order as Audi people are here now, some bigger motor part will cost the price of a used Suzuki Mehran

Nissan and honda are investing heavily in clean diesels, doesnt have to be an audi to be a clean diesel.

oh well since i use audi diesel let me tell u a little truth about audis
they dont require service that often as long as u change oil after every 14000 kms mine has done 250 000 kms and still runs like a dream
i drive 900 miles a week which is a lot and all is motorway and i dont drive less than 100 mph and it still pulls like it came out of showroom

so i think if a diesel engine is good and strong and made by a reputable company it wont die

German Diesel engines such as them used in AUdis Bmw and Mercedese they last a life time and these are the only three brands which dont even give a starting problem when the cars are parked in -6 degrees

i manage to start my car every morning half self whether its rain or its frozen
so i dont think that u need to worry about parts thatmuch because once cars availability is there parts also follow

and tell me how many times a year do u change BIG ENGINE CAMS of ur engines whos parts are easily available
