Sorry no idea about auto's much.
Between it's a mode in tranny. You have to check wiring first.

the relay will heatup - its normal (its the bobbin heating up) - just make sure its not melting.

the 4th gear not engaging is due to the ecu not able to read engine temperature or atf temperature. Put a scan tool on the unit and test those parameters. you will probably see that 4th gear is not even being requested due to low temperature.

Its also load dependant (the ecu measures load primarily from the MAF)

Thank you so much , i will and let you know. The temperature sensor is located next to the turbine speed sensor, i shall check its wiring, i got to attach wiring for DLC connector, also need a decent scan tool, other fellows here are recommending ELM327, where to get it?

Without a scan tool and working dlc you are firing in the dark

Update:
Got ELM327 and attached to DLC, 1st there were more codes, so i gradually corrected them to the last one Code 500 VSS vehicle speed sensor signal, apparently the ABS signal is not working the way i am using it, maybe i will use another method. By attaching brake pedal input signals, the engine RPM are corrected , now it idles at only 650 or 600RPM with ease, before it was around 1000, its getting closer.
Inshalla it will be okey soon i figure out the way to VSS,
More over its not getting Transmission fluid temperature also, so maybe will need some guidance here also.

Does your transmission have a provision for a vss?

Yes it does, but there is no corresponding stirrer or ring gear in the Differential, thats a big job, take the engine out, then detach transmission, open up bell housing and differential housing to access the particular gear. Long job.
I wana generate a speed signal using ABS variable reluctance sensor, i.e. an AC signal, somehow i need to convert it to square wave signal, n then either divide or multiply signal to exact specification needed by ecu.
Also i will be attaching the ATF housing temperature sensor to the ecu and hope it starts shifting ( 4th gear torque converter)

New strategedy to mount VSS sensor for ecu , i am testing 8 x Neodymium magnets on the CV Axle to geta reading from Hall effect sensor for the ECU. So far, results seem promising, it is reading the speed now and shifting all 4 gears normally, +/- gear is working fine now.
