yesterday i got air filter,oil and oil filter changed

Air filter = 2000
oil = 2770(4 ltr tin toyota motors oil) ...3.5 litre used rest remaining in tin
oil filter = 1160

totally satisfied with my belta but i had one issue ...i travelled with my family from bwp to pindi...with lot of luggage in diggi...three people sitting behind....tyres were touching the body of car again and again and making a sound when the road isnt smooth...

Get Spacers and bigger tires installed...

I do 50/50 but didnt noticed that much with regard to performance, rather found better mileage. Don't ask me why???

aite thast two of us now ... I did a complete tank on hi-octane last month and dint see any noticeable performance diff. mileage was more or less same.

It is for layman, it helped me alot in knowing the little issues of my car and in maintenance.
You can read this very thread for more detail on manual as it was discussed in detail. I bought it in 2000. You can give me any fair amount and have it as I am going to change my car hopefully.

Actually i made a deal on last sunday for a Belta in excellent condition but when i got it chkd by my mechanic he told me that the complete car is painted so we cancelled the deal.
so now as soon as i will get a New Belta i will Inshallah contact u for the manual..

How do you tell about the original OEM oil filter? I went to couple of lube shops (that are agencies).
One of them said they have a thailand one (in totyota red box packing) and would charge 400.
Another one showed the same but had printed made in japan (and very hazy printing on box) and said 500.
Another one that i went to showed the same made in thailand and said these are all made locally and packed in OEM like box and he said he'd give it to me for 250. He also claimed majority of the parts shops would sell you the same oil filter as geniune and charge you 800.

So that makes me curious to know how to recognise the original one? part number ?

Now thats a little tricky to answer, in a perfect world all the spare parts come with a product number/part number. My best guess is to get that number from original manual and compare it with the parts available in market at different prices. Some people may think that "Rs. 800 wala hi original hoga kiyon k mehnga hai" but thats not the case in Pakistan anymore. People sell Pentene at the price of life buoy and vice versa so credibility remains an issue. Do your homework properly prior to any such purchase.

The thailand one has the same part # as oem (as compared with one picture post of murtaza on this forum).
Someone suggested lepon filters are really good as well?

Different people will give u different opinions but it depends how much car fanatic u r ..... when i bought my belta 1.3 few months back, I took it to toyota and got a thorough checkup. Lubricants changes, brakes checked, CVT oil replaced, i know those guys rip u off but as it was first check up so I preferred those professionals over a road side mechanic. And that was the first and last time I took it to them now I get the oil and filter changed by a known road side mechanic. Its much cheaper.

Need a Little help
I have to buy a New Car for Family Use preferably Sedan and Belta is a good option
The quality finishing features comfort everything of these imported cars is way better than locals But Resale is Extremely bad
Sold my Passo last year ( used here for 1 year only in 10/10 condition ) @ a loss of 2.5lacs
Not getting anything above 7 ( a big lolz ) for my current Nissan ad expert 1.5 2007/12 registered in 10/10 condition with extras Loss of 4 lacs !
So This time I am really scared ! its better to go for a 0 meter Swift i Belv
But still so many owners and fans here , How is the resale of this beautiful little sedan ?? after getting it registered and using for another 1 year or so , what will b its worth in 10/10 condition , New ones unreg at present are b/w 1050 - 1350
ye bhi 7-8lacs tak to nae jaegy phr ?? Swift easily 11 ki to hogy after 1 year bhi
