AoA,

Could any one please help me understanding the built-in AV Navigation System. It is continuously complaining about incorrect SD card. Is this a SD card which holds Maps data ? What if I dont want Map Navigation and want to use it for Audio/Video mode only ?

I inserted a dvd in it and nothing happens and now I even can't find a button to eject that dvd ...

Could any one plz help me here understanding this system ?

The memory card must have been removed on the port after de-stuffing. The scumbag drivers take them out.

You will need to buy the SD with your Navigation systems software.

Go to any well-known audio shop which works on Japanese Navigation systems. Tell them you need the SD card with software for your head-unit, tell them your model number or they would recognize it by having a look.

When I imported a Passo back in January it was missing the memory card too, I got it here for 1500rs. The price can be more or less the same.

Dear Fellows,,,I have a Belta 1300 cc 2007 model and getting its average abt 10 to 11km in local and about 12 to 13 in long,,,is it ok or very low...Would apprecaite if anyone shares me tips to increase its average.Thanks

the key to best mileage is to drive under 100 Km/hr, use soft paddling while driving, clean plugs and air filter.

Will that mean that the Belta import will stop after sometime ? Sales of sub-compact sedans is very low in Japan and i think that only sub-compact sedan in sale in Japan currently(launched in october 2012) is newly launched Nissan Latio 1.2 L.

Well, the import of Belta's is already slow. Good, low mileage cars are expensive in the Japanese auction houses and then the duty is high and add the recent exchange rate increase, these cars are becoming more and more expensive each day.

Sub-compact sedans are slow in sale as compared to compact sedans for example: Corolla, Civic. Yes, the Nissan Tiida Latio is currently under production at the moment.

BTW, have you seen the new Corolla Axio? It looks WAY smaller than the previous shape.

May be that the reason for new Axio looking smaller is that its length is 2 inches less than the old one(4360 new & 4410 old). Width is the same.
Tiida latio has been discontinued and in its place Latio has been launched(called almera in some markets). It is 1200 CC(with smart stop tech and claimed fuel average of 22 Km/l) whereas earlier tiida and tiida latio were 1500 cc.

Hi all,

I have noted a sound either coming from the engine or transmission. i only hear this sound when the car is running at D mode. there is no such sound in S and B or when the car is idle (stopped or at N or P). when i press the accelerator at D a ringing sound comes just like a slipping clutch or as if when u r driving a manual petrol car at low speed with 4th or 5th gear a sound comes (i think from carburetor)telling u to lower the gear n as u lower the gear to 2nd or 1st according to the speed of the car, the sound vanishes. I am just giving an example of a manual car just to give an idea of the sound.
However i recently changed my CVT oil from toyota islamabad motors. i just drove only about 1000 kms after cvt change.
please suggest is it normal or the transmission has got some issues?

Finally I have bought Belta 1.0 2010 model.
And now I need your help in following areas.

Q1 - Which Engine Oil should I use ? Its 5W-20 or 5W-30 ? And which brand ?
Q2 - Recommended Specs/Size of Tyres & Rims to use for avoiding spead breakers on road. ?
Q3 - I want to install car security/alarm system in my Belta , is there any specific brand/system for Belta ?
Q4 - And from can I get English Manual of Belta 1.0 ?

Guyz I would really appreciate your expert opinion here.

Dear Mevrick,

Sorry for a late response as i just saw ur post.
Q1 - go for 5w - 30 as recommended (by the manual of a toyota yaris sedan)
Q2 - Dont rather never ever change the original specs of tyres n rims that is 165/70r14 toyo teo plus for a 1.0 x belta. the manual strongly advises again n again not to change the original specs not even the brand n type of the tyres coz it will confuse all the sensors ( 6 sensors in tyres) including brakes n speedometer, ur pick will become worse causing engine to heat up as well. thats what all mentioned in the manual.
dont install spacers even, it will effect the drive, if we r enjoying the rides of Japanese engineering in Pakistan then we have to bear some problems that are in our country not in the car. ( like manually deshapped speed barkers everywhere)
Q3 - i researched a lot on the security system when i got my belta and finally went for the immobilizer that is with 15 police and save the nation organization. u can get it installed from any 15 office alocated for this purpose. it will cost u 11500 rupees but its really effective or u can say confusing for a thief and it doesn't affect any of the electronic systems of ur car coz previously i went to many other lock masters they told me that they are not going to touch this car as its totally electronic and if something goes wrong the programming of whole computerized system will get faulty.
Q4 - i have a manual but will sell it out along with my car..do u wanna buy....... ..???

An OEM combine odometer/tachometer speedometer. This particular meter comes in the 1.0L S and 1.3L L and G packages.

Have waited more than 3 years to get my hands on this and it's finally here. Extremely rare to get a hold of even in Japan.
