Thanks, well I tried a lot to get one here. No luck, the ones I was getting were badly used, cracked glasses, dirt inside, some were even from the Gulf-spec Yaris sedan which has a 200km/h limit and P-R-N-D-2-L shift pattern. Didn't want that.

Search Japan parts auctions, couldn't get it from there until about a month back. It is expensive, but it is TOTALLY worth the wait.

Mt friend was getting a 2012 model.. only 11k driven for 15 lacs ... is it a fair price for a 1.0 ltr Belta ????

Customs charged 3,500rs. Don't know exactly 'how' they charged that specific amount.

Congrate Murti, Its the same that's pre-installed in my 2010 Belta 1.0. Does it show WHICH particular door is open ? as in ALTIS etc? coz mine doesn't...

BTW just to update all I got 15" Alloys and Dunlop SP T703 Sport 185/65 R15 88H tyres installed yesterday, Checked on few KNOWN speed breakers and alhamdulillah car didn't touch them.

Further checking will be done on other KNOWN culprits

Also just for everyone's knowledge, first 195/60/R15 Toyo tires were tried but they were touching the body on tow bar hook (body) so had to go with 185... hope this helps..

Thanks a bunch for sharing this dear, I have been waiting for a long time to get an idea. I am also planning to get new rubbers for my belta. I have contacted someone who claims to deal with Michellin XM2 and also found someone who deals with light weight original alloy Lenso GTR rims. Once I am back in Pk (probably end of nov) I will try to contact both parties and will physically check the quality of alloys and tyres. My plan is to get Lenso GTR rims and Michellin XM2 tyres in 185/65/R15. No idea about price as yet, I will check out the price once I see the product. Current tyre profile is 185/60/15 from Bridgestone which are also soft but they have done enough as the profile is near to limits and I have experienced enough drifting off the corners at high speed.

In my case it would just show same symbol not specific door. Rest of the meter is same.

As some of you may know I have recently bought Belta 1.0 2010 model (I have changed engine oil -Zic A+ and have also changed the plugs - genuine Denso, bought from mintgumri road lhr ) and have observed few things and would like to that is it normal or do I need to worry about them.

1- When I start car and its in 1st gear and when it goes from 1st to 2nd gear , engine really roars. But afterwards engine sound is normal. That sound is normal ?
2- When Car is in D mode and I lift my foot from gas , car stops. Earlier I had Vitz and in Vitz when it was in D mode and even if I lift my foot from gas , car used to still accelerate with speed of 5 km.
3- When I stop car on signal or need to park it and move it to P mode , RPM meter shows value of 1 RPM , Shouldn't it goes to 0 ?

Please guyz let me know are these normal issues or do I need to take care of them ?
